I love mine & purchased this for my daughter to use with her tilt head Kitchen Aid mixer. She is very pleased with this flex edge beater.

i've never had an actual kitchenaid rubber edge attachment so i can't compare the two, but this one does a decent job for the price point, of keeping batter off the edges.

The media could not be loaded.  I thought I ordered the rubber piece only but when actually a whole beater arrived, it was great.I tried it of course with an empt bowl and it squeaked like a hurt turkey…..Then I made a cake dough and tried it again - this time the squeaking disappeared however the heater takes care of the sides only about 80%. There is still some residue at the sides.Also, just like the original beater, this one likes to come off the stub.In good conscience, I can’t give this beater more than 3 stars. I am only lukewarm impressed with it…..

A paddle that comes with the KitchenAid mixer does not have the silicone covering as this one does and this gives it a better ability to scrape the sides. When using the old paddle you had to stand by the machine as it worked to continually push the sides down with a spatula to keep it going through the paddle.This unit scrapes the sides with the soft silicone and does the work for you so you can do some other task associated with the baking or cooking you're doing. It is very easy to remove the silicone so you can clean the paddle and the silicone quite well and then reinstall it without any problem. Sure why KitchenAid does not include this type of paddle with new units but when we got ours they did not.

I finally got to use this and it fit my Kitchen Aide perfectly. It scraped the sides nicely and was easy to clean up. Wish I had it years ago!

The media could not be loaded.  I'm going to start with the fact that it does get the job done. The beater does fit perfectly on the kitchen aid stand mixer that I have and doesn't bang against the bowl. The only note that I would recommend is that don't use it without any liquid in the mix like i was making a dough and placed the dried ingredients in and even though it didn't break but it did make a quite loud noise as it mix until the wet ingredients were put in. The quality of the beater is good its sturdy and well made. Great item for anyone making cakes it does eliminate the need to scrape residual mix from the edges of the bowl.

Convient parfaitement au kitchenaid artisan.Il racle bien la paroi et me fait gagner du temps,plus besoin d arrêter le robot pour racler le bol avec ma spatule .
