Game-Changer for Clean, Quiet, High-Performance Rides
As an avid cyclist who rides year-round, I'm always on the hunt for products that actually make a difference. SILCA Super Secret Chain Lube blew me away. From the first ride, my drivetrain felt buttery smooth and noticeably quieter. What really sets this lube apart is how clean everything stays, dirt and grime don’t cling like with traditional lubes, even after wet or dusty rides.Application is easy, and the drip tip gives you precise control so there’s no mess or waste. I followed SILCA’s instructions to start with a clean chain and noticed the benefits immediately. After a few hundred miles, I’m seeing less wear and no gunk buildup, which tells me this lube is doing its job really well.It may cost more than others, but it delivers premium results that justify the price. If you care about performance and want a chain lube that truly lives up to the hype, this is the one.

Awesome drip wax! Exceeded expectations!
Still relatively new to the product...and haven't done any scientific testing...but, performance of this drip-on wax has been noticeably better than what I was using previously (Squirt). The old adage of you get what you pay for definitely applies here....SILCA is a tad more expensive than Squirt (not too terribly though) but chain has stayed quieter much longer than what I was getting with Squirt (at least from the relatively controlled environment of the indoor trainer). Someday I'll make the leap and invest in the hot wax setup...which I imagine paired with the drip-on for touch up's in between, will take things to the next level...until then I'm happy that I've at least upped my lube game to SILCA's Super Secret. Be sure to watch SILCA's/Josh's latest video on the correct location to apply the lube (on top, just in front of cassette while cross-chaining)...IIRC, the video on the Amazon product page was from the initial product launch and not what they currently recommend.

Simple, effective, quite, smooth
I've been waxing my chains for years and while nothing compares to stripping and re-waxing a chain, this drip on wax will prolong the longevity of your wax jobs. After every 100-300 miles (depending on the weather) I'll wipe the chain down and apply one drop to each roller. It takes only a few minutes to do this and the results are fantastic. Like all Silca products, this one clearly gets five stars.

Silca is the Best
What's not to like? easy to apply chain wax! I use this to supplement between my full on Silca chain cleaning and waxing.

Secret Sauce for Lazy Days
This stuff is like the halfway house between full waxing and running your chain into the ground… perfect for those “oops, forgot to prep” rides. It goes on smooth, keeps things quiet, and doesn’t leave a greasy mess behind. As for improved wattage output? Maybe if you’ve got a power meter and dreams of the Tour, but I didn’t notice anything magical. Still, for a between-waxes solution, it’s easy, clean, and keeps the drivetrain from sounding like a haunted treadmill.

Worth the effort
After using White Lightning wax for dry conditions for years I decided to try something new, a more modern formula. The reviews here and in the magazines were good so I went for it even though it is pretty expensive in my opinion. I’ve used molybdenum disulfide as a lubricant for other applications for years and have been really satisfied so the tungsten disulfide formulation makes perfect sense.I have a “very last” of the Dura Ace 10s chains and I’d like it to last. I have about 3,000miles on it. While the white lightening was t the best lubricator, it did an excellent job of keeping a clean chain, trapping dirt and then shedding it off (chain dandruff). I stripped it down using boiling water to melt the big chunk a off, the a bath and scrub in acetone, followed by heating in a toaster oven to 400°F to flash off the acetone and remaining wax. Last was a rinse in IPA and then hit it with compressed air. I probably could have gotten every last bit of grime with a degreaser in my ultrasonic cleaner, but I ran out of patience.I lubed it up with a drop on each link pin and then let it sit in a ziplock for a few hours soaking in the stuff. After that I Hing dry it outside. The wax dries clear, the tungsten leaves a gray color. I put it back on the bike (missing link) and back pedaled it for awhile. All was good. After a few hours of “set time” while I mowed the lawn (3+acres, takes awhile) I went for a ride. Out of the gates (garage) it was smooth and silent. I mean really silent! Shifting was excellent. 15 miles later of absolute blissful cycling I could tell it had really worked it’s way into the chain. At the end of 20 miles it was a little noisier but not bad (about like the white lightning right after treatment) and still VERY smooth running and shifting.I’m going to put another light coat of it on now (after the ride) and let it sit overnight for the next ride. Then I’m going to just see how many miles I can go before I really need to top it off again. I’m hoping 200miles or so. The 50-60mi I was getting with the White Lightning was a hassle to keep applying (or rather forgetting to reapply and then spending an hour or so on a bike that sounds like a squeaky old school bus.So far I’m satisfied. I’m not a racer, and the “7 watts of power” supposedly regained from this lube really means nothing to me. I’m old, fat, and lazy (but do get out on the bike ~100+miles a week) and I just want a quiet, smooth riding experience so for me it was worth the cheddar.I’ll try to update this review after a few hundred miles. I’ll add that I am totally happy that my DA chain, even with 3k on it already, is running great and will hopefully last awhile longer.

Awesome wax chain product
Excellent product. Clean my chain with Silca chain cleaner and then apply this secret wax drip while chain is on bike. Do two coats and ready to go 300miles and then repeat. Don’t do the wax in crock pot method as less hassle and been working for me with no issues and chain in awesome shape. Totally recommend this product.
