Q: Is this suitable for 100% polyester - the jacket was previously waterproofed but it was worn off

If the jacket had already been waterproofed I cannot think of any reason that it shouldn't work? I used the recommended nik wax wash then followed that with the nik wax wash in water proofer, and on top of that also sprayed my jackets with the nik wax spray too once they were dry! May seem like overkill but I am outside in all weathers and its not as if you have to proof jackets all the time. Hope that this helps.
