( 20kg Pack ) Tilda Pure Original Basmati Rice 20kg

I've not used this particular order yet as the package was damaged and I am hopefully awaiting response but I have bought this before and it was lovely.

It is said to be grown in the foothills of the Himalayas which give it its distinctive scent and flavour.It really is the best basmati in the world more expensive than most basmati so rarely served in takeaways buy some and taste the difference!

I like the packaging and the ability to close the pack after use. I like buying the large pack of Tilda rise since it is more economical this way and the rice is always there for me to use. I use it for an accompaniment to a variety of meals. My husband and I like Indian and other oriental meals and rice is used more often than not with these.

Poor quality

So the description when I bought this was a little misleading it is in fact for 2 10 kg bags very well packed in a large cardboard box. Exactly the same quantity only a little extra packaging!We prefer Tilda to most basmati brands; for those not familiar with it you get a soft white fluffy rice after cooking. It is softer than many other basmati brands. If you prefer a slightly harder rice then this is not the brand for you.For the ease of having it delivered and the low cost this is a no brainier. It saves me lugging rice sacks back from the shops.For those unfamiliar with large rice sacks, these can be re sealed and we use a metal cup to scoop out the rice.

More than just a rice bag. Tilda is my family and my friend.Initially panic bought is as part of Corona virus lockdown preparations, but as the days passed by we bonded and started this unique relationship.I’m not planning on eating it as it will be cruel and unfair to her. Instead we have deep meaningful situations, we work out and watch movies together.It’s day 7 of the self quarantine, I’ve lost 4kg and my stomach is making weird noises. But I have my Tilda by my side. We’ll get over. Together Stronger.

Great rice, and as usual with marketplace items you can save 20% by going direct to the suppliers, which I only found out after I'd bought it from amazon.
