I have lots of different lights for Christmas. Big display. And I would stock up on these because of several pros:1) they are modular. If one piece goes bad I can either stub it or replace a piece. Not all garlands are like that!2) they look great, twinkle nicely, nice size. A bit expensive. To create a decent display you need 2-3, but with “1” they can last me a long time3) truly waterproof. I only need to secure the plug itself and these could withstand rains without shortingAs some reviewers say plastic on balls is indeed not heavy duty. But they don’t claim to be all year round ones. They should last nicely if you use them a couple months around Christmas

These 8-inch globe lights were a great addition to our Christmas decorations. The size is perfect—not too big, but enough to stand out. The lights have a warm glow that added a cozy feel to our setup. The string is long enough to drape across a tree or wrap around a porch railing without feeling too short. They were easy to hang and didn’t tangle, which made decorating a breeze. Overall, they worked well for the holiday season and I’d definitely use them again next year.

Fairly easy to set up, but when snapping the two halves together, a couple prongs broke off. I finally used a pair of needle-nose pliers to slightly squeeze together the prongs.

These held up outside all winter in the Northeast while looking fantastic in my tree. Better than expected!

After a few days one of the spheres went dim; we checked connections did our best troubleshooting, but there was no fixing it. A few days later another went out. We purchased 3 4-packs for 12 spheres and were down to 10 a few days in. I'm hoping we can get through this season with what's left, but I'm sensing these aren't going to be lights we're able to come back to year after year. For the cost, I'm very disappointed. Leaving 2 stars because the ones that work look nice. However, overall I regret the purchase - I've never had lights go out so quickly.
