Impregnated with 15ml of Pencil Blend liquid, this sponge is an easy and effective way of controlling your use of blending liquid. When you press your brush, paper stump or tortillion onto the surface it soaks up the Zest-It liquid, allowing you to use it in a controlled manner.

Great for coloured pencil layering
I love Zest It its made my colouring pencil work soo much easier . I find adding a very light layer of pencil first then using a blender , tortillion I use a small eye shadow brush just a few light presses into the Zest it sponge and go over your layer again lightly . You can then repeat the process building up your layers without burnishing as this can prevent you adding more pencil.Great product very reasonably priced and does genuinely make a difference .

Convenient and Portable
Very convenient and portable way to moisten stumps. It's basically a solvent-soaked sponge in a jar.. There's no sitting liquid and hence no leakages. Just remember to put the lid back on afterwards so the sponge doesn't dry out. You can top it up later with more solvent once it's been used up over time.I use it for graphite and coloured pencils and it blends both beautifully without damage to the paper. Any marks left on the sponge by the stump soon disappear. It's worth storing the jar upside down from time to time so the solvent doesn't sink. It smells of oranges which is non-offensive - I'd prefer it if it had no smell but that's just a minor point..

Sadly there seemed very little content in the sponge.
I wanted to love this product! I already had a jar of Spectrum Noir blending solution which I dipped either a paper stump or paint brush straight into. The problem with doing this was I could easily get too much on the paper stump, I also risked contaminating the rest of the jar. When the Zest-It arrived the first thing I noticed was the smell which is a great selling point. However, although there must have been enough product to provide the smell, the sponge was fairly dry. I had to dig the paper stump or paint brush in deeply and even then it was damp enough to blend only a few millimetres of the coloured pencil. About five minutes in, I had to add some of my Spectrum Noir blending solution in to the sponge to complete the first piece. Unfortunately, doing this has changed the odour. If there had been enough of the product in the jar, I'm sure I would have given this a higher rating. If I'm honest though, from the little product I have I believe the Spectrum Noir pencil blending solution is more effective. With this in mind, I decided against ordering a refill bottle. If there had been more product to make a better comparison, my opinion may have changed.

Blends colour pencils well.
Came swiftly and as described. The white sponge does make it easy to pick up the Zest It, which does smell citrusy. I am sure it will last for a long time.I will buy a bottle of Zest It when the sponge needs remoisturising.Does blend out my colour pencils well. Have been having fun.

Would be good if it had arrived in a better condition?
When the jar arrived the lid was lose , no seal, and it seems like there was hardly any product in the sponge, ( had it evaporated?) It was almost completely dry! I did turn the sponge over to see if the bottom was moist, it was a little, but no way was there 15 ml in the pot. On a positive side, the concept is good and it smells pleasantly of citrus!

For my coloured pencil drawing.
Blends the coloured pencils really well. Skin and fur texture looks more realistic, just dip a cotton bud or the likes into the sponge and away to go, doesn't use much so should last for ages. Don't forget to store it upside down to keep the sponge wet.

Best Blender out
Excellent product! Certainly does the job of blending my wax/oil based pencil crayons with ease! Nice citrus smell too! Allows the addition of more colour once blended! Brilliant
