ClippasafeToilet Lock

Shocking! Came pinging off the first time my daughter tried to open the toilet. Fiddly for when you are wanting to use toilet, I know it's a lock but thought my older kdis would have been able to open themselves at 5 and 8 and couldn't. Complete waste of money.

This toilet lock is not for a toilet stool which has a curved lip as it will not stick on flush, if your toilet has a straight lip then you will be able to use these locks, so for me i did not work due to the type of toilet i have. but saying that i decided to use it to lock my fridge/freezer and works great for that i even purchased another one so both doors on the fridge/freezer can be locked to stop my toddler getting in and pulling everything out. so i gave it 3 stars as they have multiple uses.

As soon as my son worked out he could throw things down the toilet, I knew it was time to get a lock for it. I'm quite surprised this lock has had such bad reviews so far as I would say I bought mine roughly 6 months ago and it's holding up quite well considering how inexpensive it was. OK, now and then it pings off with the steam from the bath/shower from the bowl side, but somehow manages to stick back down again with adequate pressure and is still there doing a great job for the time being and that's with endless amounts of poking and prodding around from my toddler who is of course fascinated with it. I wouldn't say it's that hard to unfasten either when you're dying for the loo so now worries there. All in all, I can only recommend this product from my experince so far.

It appeared to be good, but then we had folk over for dinner and by the end of the night the bottom, (excuse the pun) part was missing. We believe that it may have got caught on someones clothing on the way down and after completing their business and pulling their clothing back up the bottom part ha of the clip has been released and been subsequently flushed......either that or some one has taken it home with them in their knickers but they haven't owned up to it. We havent purchased a new one

Didn't work on my toilet.It is sticky but only on toilet bowl.Didn't suit my toilet but may suit others

Has managed to keep my toddler say from hands in loo. Hopefully it lasts longer than the other 1 I had

lasted for a while but my son managed to break it off, other than that it was good temporary fix, maybe replace every so often

You buy cheap you get what you pay for lesson learnt this didn't even last 12 hours hardly any adhesive capacity my 1 year old pulled it off in about 10 seconds and after reattaching it a dozen times or so and the adhesive failing miserably we finally decided to remove and look for another more study one would not recommend
