Samsung Galaxy Note 3 User Manual

I am currently a dedicated IPhone user however, my contract is nearly at an end and I was looking for an alternative contract phone for my daughter. My daughter liked the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 so we took a trip to the shop to look at the note 3 and were totally confused by it. I came across this book whilst sifting through the android books available on amazon.I read this book after looking at the phone and found it to be very informative and it covered all aspects of the Note 3. It is clearly written and set out in an easy to follow manner. Each section of this book is detailed in how to use the Note 3. I’m not very technical and neither is my daughter so this book was a godsend.I recommend this book to anyone who is contemplating owning a note 3 as it will save you hours of stress trying to figure out how to make it do the added extras that the note 3 is able to do.

I have never sent a review of a book; but I feel I must in this instance. Do Not Purchase this product! Despite the word "User" being included in the title of the book, it is completely useless! I purchased three books (Samsung Galaxy Note 3 User Manual being one of the three) to help me learn all about my new Note 3 phone. THIS so-called "manual" - I have thrown in the trash. It is a slim 86 pages, large font, double-spaced listing of the features of the phone. You can learn more about the features of the phone by clicking on the HELP app included with the phone or from the person who sold you the phone - which is not saying much. Mr. Forrester should be ashamed he is making money from this farce - truly, this is the perfect example of false advertising when the cover states "USER MANUAL". There are no explanations of settings or useful explanations of the features. Because I do not want to be totally negative - the COVER is very pretty!

The manual was not very comprehensive and many of the instructions did not fit my Galaxy note 3. For example sending pictures we had to call Verizon to find out that the manual skipped a step. like hitting the check mark. Also we could not find out how to reduce the size of pictures when the Galazy note 3 said the "file was to big to send". There wer other examples as well, but the space here is not big enough to outline all of them.Better than nothing and in many ways very helpful. Certainly worth the $20.00.

This book is very informative regarding many aspects of the Note 3:+ What's in the box+ Getting Started+ Basic Navigation+ Basic Features+ Camera+ Advanced features and how to use them.Each section of this book gives very through details on how to use this in a step by step way. This book is easy to follow and keep as a handy reference book for the Note 3!My favorite chapter is Chapter 10 Setting up WiFi Hot Spot and Tethering to your computerThis is a MUST HAVE BOOK for anyone who owns a NOTE 3 or is considering purchasing a Note 3.

For tutorial books, pictures/illustrations are extremely helpful and go a long way toward avoiding confusion and learning the tricks quickly. The author does a fine job explaining what the phone can do, but without pictures, it gets confusing where to swipe, what a particular button or icon looks like, etc.

THIS PHAMPLET, NOT A BOOK, DOES NOT HAVE ANY NEW OR DIFFERENT INFORMATION THAN THE INSTRUCTION BOOK THAT COMES WITH THE PHONE. IN MY OPINION AN ABSOLUTE WASTE OF MONEY. DO NOT BUY

Three stars for grammar and punctuation. Otherwise, nothing new in this short book that is not available via google.com, or by just messing with the phone for a while. Not really worth my while, but maybe if I was a total technophobe, I would find this book more useful.

much better than trying to use online manual . I am able to easily get the info I need. Should have come with the phone.

My partner found several books for me to consider as I have struggled with me new phone, I have had my phone for a week now, my order has come in very good time, I've browsed through the guide and can honestly say I am happy with my choice, I am learning how this mobile is so much more than a smart phone thanks to Daniel's prose (author).

This book is rather too terse for the beginner. It would have been splendid reference work to follow a training course as a refresher for the features covered in the presentation, but not frequently used by the user. As a "how-to", it falls short.
