I absolutely LOVE this cover! It is just the right size to carry a couple of Field Notes sized journals. I put one in the usual spot and one as a spare in the back cover pocket. The front pocket does a fine job of holding my Pentel mechanical pencil and my Kaweco Brass Sport fountain pen. There is plenty of room inside for extras, ie. cards, money, another pen, leads for my pencil, whatever. The quality of this cover is surprisingly very good. Just as good if not better than some of the more expensive covers I have looked at. Quite pleased!

Came in as advertsied, making a range book out of this and is perfect for 3x5 index cards, also put a weatherproof notepad in it. saves you tons from buying a pre-made one.

I keep my passport and a few important documents when traveling. I have confidence in the zipper

I suppose you read the stats and features on this journal, so I will just add that in the hand, it feels like it will be around a long time, and develop that well worn in distinguished look of a life well lived, or at least interesting. I don't always journal, but when I do, it's safe within my Maxhoo Journal Cover. Buy this thing.

Very nicely made, waterproof and has pockets for id, or credit cards and a larger pockets for extra note books inside and pockets on both side for papers or more notebooks.

The cover was very cheesy looking with scratches on the cover.

Doesn't seem to be waxed canvas. Too dry and rough. Fine for 3x5 but if waxed canvas is a must-have get something else
