Great panel - No cords to attach to the solar controller
I elected this size for two reasons. It covered the chicken coop roof well as well as provided me with 180W of energy. It was connected to a cheap solar controller as well as an AGM batter 12V 35amh. It should charge this battery in about 3 hrs. The panel came well packaged. Seem to be very good quality. Sealed with a glass on top. Made in Vietnam. It did not have the cord that attaches to the clip on leads to be able to attach to the solar controller. I found about a 9" ones for about $6 (otherwise, I would have to cut the male and female clips and expose the wire and I did not want to do that). I also bought the universal NewPowa roof attachment kit that worked well. You can buy a kit that has all these but it was a lot more than if you buy all of these separately.

Well built and performs on par or better with several other name brand solar panels.
Panel in well built and has withstood higher winds with no problems. Overall output is net the %70 percent range at peak times that is expected from this class of solar panel(same or above several other common name brands). Bought as a test. Starts producing power with little light early in day and late evenings. Works well with partial shading and is only slightly larger then 100w panels. Planning to buy several more to add to the test system and see how they perform in serial connections. Only complaints are packaging. Had very slight cosmetic damage to frame due to flimsy box it is shipped in.

They work as advertised.
I wish I had done my research before going the harbor freight route, but it was an affordable entry into solar. These panels are way more efficient. I will buy this product again.

Good Panels at a Competitive Price
I ordered ten 175W panels from Newpowa for a solar project at our summer House in Michigan. I had previously purchased two 25W panels from Newpowa and I was impressed by their quality which is why I chose Newpowa panels for my larger project.I received the panels but discovered that one of them was damaged and requested a replacement. Newpowa promptly offered either a refund or a replacement panel. They shipped the replacement via Fedex and I received it in 3 days I installed the 10 panels in two 5 panel arrays on the roof and they are producing 1000-1300 watts consistently. I couldn't be more pleased with the panels and the service provided by the seller. They make a great product at a competitive price. I would recommend Newpowa panels to anyone considering a solar project.

Best panels for Bluetti AC180 use 3 to get 500 watts.
If you have an ac180 you'll know it's hard to get to the maximum 500 watts with solar panels without going over the 60v 10a limit. I previously bought 2 pv200 bluetti brand panels, a third would go over the 60v limit. They only gave me 250 watts on a perfect day. Now on to these newpowa panels. I was able to get 3 because the voc is 19.84. Wired them up in series and voila. These are the only panels that let you get close to, or in my case actually hit my 500 watt goal! I'm so happy. As for the shipping I was worried that they would be damaged on route. Many other companies use very little to protect their panels. Well newpowa does an amazing job with protection almost too good. It got a little annoying removing all that protective wrapping and cardboard. Anyways buy these panels they are great... so far. I'll update if my opinion changes for the worse.

Will purchase again for future projects.
Shipping was pretty slow, but the unit arrived as expected. Like the other reviewer, this unit was placed on the roof of my Kia Sedona van and run down through a charge controller and out to a battery pack made up of two Nissan Leaf batteries wired up in series. The load on the charge controller powers 12 volt items and USB plugs for various phones, tablets. The solar panel's frame is solid and had holes already drilled into the frame. I placed washers on the top and bottom of a bolt that ran to an L-bar cut about 12 inches in each of the screw hole sections. Into those I ran u bolts around the bars in my roof rack. And just for extra safety I added zip ties in case one of the bolts worked out. The connectors on the end fit perfectly in my standard MC4 connectors. The wires were thick. I have not seen more than 110 watts out of the panel, but normally my batteries are recharged before the mid day's sun. And my panels are flat on the roof. You can literally hang off the frame edge and it does not flex.

I used 3 of these in series for over 450 watts on Bluetti EB150
I bought these panels specifically to try to get close to the max power of 500 watts on my Bluetti EB150. In order to stay within the maximum open circuit voltage of 68 volts I found that many the Newpowa panels have an open circuit voltage of around 20 volts. I chose to go with the 180 watt panels and the voltage of 3 stayed below 60 volts open circuit. Each panel separately gave me 151 watts connected to my EB150. 2 panels in series gave 320 watts and 3 in series gave me 465 on one day and 475 watts on a slightly better sunny day. The EB240 has the same solar input specs in should do about the same. I uploaded a picture of the EB150 screen showing the input power with the 3 panels in series.

Falsche Leistungsangabe
