Best deltoid machine I've ever seen.
This machine is a very unique and highly effective piece of gym equipment that I never knew I had been missing until I tried it out. I would have to say if you want to get just one dedicated deltoid machine for your home gym, this one would be an excellent choice. One need-to-know detail upfront is that it only works with 2 in./Olympic plates. Incredibly fast shipping from GMWD (it arrived before I was even expecting it) and I like the fact that all the components were shipped conveniently in one box. Assembly was very straightforward and easygoing. The instructions were fairly detailed with the washers, nuts, bolts, gaskets, and all other parts easy to identify. About the only way the instructions could have been better is if the assembly picture diagrams had been in color with close-up/magnified views, but it was still plenty easy enough. Once you get all of the components unwrapped and staged, you will easily be able to see how the parts fit together. It took me just over 2 hours to fully assemble it, and that was with a solid half-hour break factored in. (The first 15 minutes were spent removing all of the hardware from the box and unwrapping each individual component) Just make sure you have at least two free hours and a good ratchet set before you start. Once I got the machine fully assembled and ready for use, I was impressed by how beautiful and well-designed it is. I could almost instantly feel the isolation of my middle deltoids and it's so great that this machine forces you to do lateral raises the correct way with minimized cheating. Because of this, you might find that you can't handle quite as much weight for each rep as you normally would be able to with a dumbbell for the same exercise. I've started out with 5 lb. plates and they feel perfect for now while I'm getting a feel for this new machine. (Note: the moving boom arms that hold the plates are already substantially heavy by themselves) The lower set of boom arms really hit the rear deltoids hard. As with a dumbbell, gripping the handle with an underhand grip and doing a unilateral raise works the anterior deltoid. And this machine isn't just a one-trick pony, either: if you hold the handle unilaterally with an OVERHAND grip and extend your arm and the weight behind you, it REALLY works the triceps very hard. (Just for nickel-knowledge: for all the exercises, you will need to stand quite close to the machine in order to get the proper leverage and effectiveness for each rep) Lastly, the weight-plate storage horns are very nice complimentary bonus and assure that the machine has an excellent counterbalance weight and floor-level center of gravity. Hope this helps!

Gyms are missing this machine
I frequent many gyms, and it's almost always the case that they lack this and the "Nautilus Nitro Bicep Curl" machine. So, when I stumbled upon this lateral machine on Amazon, I didn't hesitate to snag it! Right after assembling it, I gave it a go, and finally, I felt a strong connection with my delts. I have the seated lateral raise machine with a viking press, but it sucks. This machine, on the other hand, really delivers, especially with single front lateral raises. Not only did it perform well, but it arrived well-packaged and quickly. The assembly instructions were a breeze to follow. Itโs also well built. It's clear that some gym machines are designed by people who do not lift. However, this one is different. It was clearly created by someone who trains. Iโm going to spam my shoulders every other day for the rest of my life with this machine. Do yourself a favor and get it.

SHOULDER WORKOUT 2.0
I've had this for a little bit. I've done a few workouts with it.you can hit all 3 heads with this machine.the arms weigh 20 pounds without any weight on them.the reason I bought this was to do side laterals perfect.it hits them right on.your rear delts get a extremely intense workout with the bottom extension.it took me 2 hours to put together.you need to unwrap each piece and separate them.get your tools and hardware ready.a piece of cake to buid.the worlds and paint were extremely nice.this is the ultimate home gym shoulder essential machine you need to have.i could not be any happier. Can't wait for my next gmwd piece of equipment.

Great Machine
Great machine arrived packaged nicely but a little banged up and to the wrong address ("Fed Ex No Bueno") but the overall quality of the machine is top notch feels like a commercial piece and functions nicely ...

Non Existent Customer Service
I'm giving this 2 stars based on the lack (absence) of customer service. The machine does what it supposed to do, delt extensions. There were/are 3 issues. 1) I didn't get all the bolts (one was missing, not a show- stopper) 2) I received only one set of bumpers, should of been 2 sets, one of the upper and one for the lower arms (Not a show-stopper). 3) One of the metal holes, in one of the "arms", was too small and I could not slide the pin in to connect the "hand". I had to widen the hole with a drill (Not a show-stopper, but if I didn't have the correct tools it could of been a show-stopper) I contacted customer support to get another set of bumpers and an additional screw (and to let them know about the narrow hole in the metal arm) Customer support never responded This company looks to have a lot of decent equipment but will most likely never purchase another item from them based on zero customer support

Not worth the price, poor customer service
I waited for a company stateside to start selling this machine and bought it immediately when it became available. In theory it works great, but squeaks a lot when a decent amount of weight is added. It also isn't weight stable, and will begin to rock backwards because there is no weight counterbalancing in the front. This can be a real safety issue if it isn't right next to a wall because the front of the machine will come right off of the ground, then slam back down on the eccentric motion. A couple of bolts also stripped during installation. The company said they would send new ones and never did. Amazon reached out as well with no response. All in all, a decent machine, not great quality, and not worth the price. Especially considering the poor customer service. I would look elsewhere.

Love it. Hits the medial delts dead on iso. This will correct your form that you have been doing wrong with db's. It's solid Make sure you grease it up before putting it together. Complaints come from those who don't and find it difficult to assemble, when it's really easy, as long as you can wrench
