I already owned this same suitcase but it got a wrecked handle when SO threw it into the back of the vehicle with the handle still out. So bought it again. This time tho, zippers came locked. It had instructions and said the code was 000. It was not. Emailed samonite but all they gave me was the same instructions. And said if that doesn’t work I had to make a return through desertcart. I didn’t want to bother with a return, So I had to go through almost all numbers 1 by 1 to find the code to get it unlocked. Code was 789. Was also not to self, to buy some tsa keys. Suitcase is 23” tall. It still fits overhead bins, no problem. I’ve never had anyone at any point of the flying process question the size of my carry on. Have used it many many times. That 2” of space does help, so that’s why I got it.

**Q: I received the suitcase and it is locked! What is the code to open the lock?**
A: Mine arrived locked too, I tried everything to open. Eventually after starting at 000, 629 tries at the combination later it finally popped open. That took about 25 minutes. Good luck!

**Q: What is the empty case weight?**
A: The 28” is advertised as 9.5lbs. Mine just arrived and it weighs 10.1lbs on my luggage scale.

**Q: Will the 28” spinner be a problem while checking in the bag with American Airlines? They say the checked bag should be 62” and this is 65”**
A: I got the 24 inch and measured it and found out that the dimensions here on Amazon as well as on the Samsonite website isn't accurate. The 24 inches was supposed to be 60.9 linear inches according to Samsonite website, but I measured it and it was just 57.5 inches. When expanded, it was 59 inches. So I returned it and now thinking if I should just get the 28 inches.

**Q: How I unlock it if forgot password??**
A: Only issue with suitcase was no instructions on setting combo. BUT called Samsonite and were so helpful. Use a pen tip to push in the lil divot inbetween dials and lock. Reset. Push lock to the combo and pop, unlocked

Superb. Just the right size for 2 weeks away. Great expansion function, looks really cool. Super easy to wheel around. Very robust with a great lock. Faultless. Reduces the risk of some plonker picking up the wrong bag on the carousel due to the unique colour. Superb.
