Doesn't connect. I would avoid this product.
Transmitters button doesn't work, and I have to keep plugging/unplugging the unit to finally get it to connect.

Worked as advertised
It worked out of the box with me. I have the transmitter outside about 100 feet from the receiver which is inside connected to a monitor. Will recommend but it will be better if it had 2 receivers.

Uses the 5 GHz band ( at the moment).
This Wireless HDMI Transmitter and Receiver work quite well. There is about a 60 - 80 second delay before the receiver locks on to the transmitter, so be patient. It is penetrating three walls with the receiver at about 50 feet distance (straight line). I am using it to relay the security camera monitor from one room to another. Using an Acrylic Wi-Fi analyzer, I see that it uses a 20 MHz wide section at the top edge of the 5 GHz band (currently on Ch 153) , and this channel can move around each time it is used. My Nyrius HDMI System uses a 60 MHz wide swatch of the upper region of the 5 GHz band (channels 153 - 161 and they both can be operated at the same time without interference at the same one monitor location. And there are neighboring routers operating 80 MHZ wide channels from 149 to Ch 161 at the same time. It's surprising that I can get a clean video signal with all the neighboring radio signals. There are 1 second delays in the video stream on occasion, but that doesn't bother me for security camera purposes, but it would be annoying for a movie. The delays have to be because of the interference from all the devices using this part of the 5 GHz band at the same time. Just remember, this when judging how well the unit works in your situation. If I could make the transmitter and receiver stay on Channel 165, it would be perfect. Rarely does anybody uses that one narrow 5 GHz channel in my neighborhood.

Exactly what I expected.
So I tried a couple of these and while the other unit was pretty much junk, this one did exactly what I needed. I connected it and ran tests at home for 2 days. Negligible latency if any at all, exceptional quality music videos across the room. A friend connected it at a bar during a DJ karaoke gig and it performed perfectly across a large room. It’s a game changer for situations that can’t accommodate long HDMI cables.I’d not hesitate to buy another one if needed but I haven’t tested running 2 at the same time in the same room.
