Lindt Extra Large GOLD BUNNY Milk Chocolate finished with a bell, 1kg

The Lindt gold bunny is a classic, and the last year has been so horrible (thanks to COVID) I decided to get my Mum the great big one. It’s expensive, but a kilo of chocolate is a lot and Lindt don’t lower the standard of the chocolate used in their Easter products, so this is a good, reliable present made from delicious, creamy chocolate. The bunny is really cute, and the bell used on its collar isn’t simply decorative: it makes a good jingling noise. I quite like the fact that the matte-effect ribbon and gold-colour bell used for the bunny’s collar can be saved and reused - even if just as a souvenir.I was a bit nervous about buying an expensive, hollow chocolate item online but I bought direct from Amazon because I know they are easy to deal with if an item is damaged in transit. I needn’t have feared: this was really well packed, with the bunny’s clear box wrapped around with multiple layers of shock-absorbing honeycomb-structure paper, in addition to the usual grey paper inside the shipping box. In defiance of my more pessimistic expectations Mum’s bunny arrived safely in one piece. I wouldn’t want to buy something like this during warmer weather, when the (potentially) hours spent in a warm delivery van could cause the chocolate to melt, or temperature changes create a bloom on the chocolate- but ordered during a February cold snap this has arrived intact and without any indication of temperature-related damage. Decent duration of time between Easter and Best Before date (August 2021 on bunny bought in February of the same year). Very happy with purchase.

After reading some previous reviews, I wasn’t convinced the rabbit would arrive in one piece, however I’m delighted to say it did. It was well bubble wrapped and boxed. It’s very impressive, if a 1kg chocolate rabbit wrapped in gold foil, with a red collar and bell is what you’re looking for. It’s perfect for our competition prize 👍

Bought one last year and it arrived in perfect condition. This year poor bunny arrived with the head broken off. Which made it a lot easier to eat as we didn’t feel guilty about breaking it. Unlike last year.Yummy flavour of Lindt and Amazon CS were amazing as per usual.

What is not to like about this one ? Except the equally gigantic amount of calories from eating it!Kids could not believe their eyes when they found it at Easter. Lind's milk chocolate is delicious - this one kept the entire family well supplied for quite some time.

When I opened the delivery the box was dented and the seal to the lid was cut open. The foil had been torn around the chocolate and the chocolate head was broken. This was a gift but can’t give it! Very disappointed and upset! I can’t give 0 stars!

Also came damage with head missing, brought for my son for Easter.After reading the reviews I think it’s hit and miss (pun intended) if you get a damaged one or not!...Does not effect the chocolate though!!Gone in 60 seconds...

Arrived in time in perfect condition. It was somewhat larger than we anticipated but that was a pleasant surprise.
