I spent weeks trying to get it working in windows, nvidia panel, trying multiple splitters and adapters, even a standalone orei 1080p down converter... this has it all built into one little neat device. It also replaced my need to use a software program to clone the audio out too. Only downside is that it's power by an ac adapter and barrel plug. I picked up a usb to barrel plug adapter cable and now i"m able to run it off of usb too! Review: Switches are tiny and no quality instruction on how to set them. I wanted 4k dolby sound to my main tv and 1080p to the second which product description says this should do. It cannot. To get it set to send full 4k to the main tv i had to switch the first to copy, it could not then downscale properly for 2nd tv. Turning on the downscaling gave me a distorted picture on the 2nd tv and turning it off gave me a blank screen. If I switched the first switch to auto I only got 1080 on all screens. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review *by D***1 on 20 April 2025* In my experience of splitting a 4K Firestick (to be kept at 4K setting) to a 4K projector (output: 1) and three 1080P monitors (output: 2,3,4), to get sound you have to use an additional audio extractor (4K rated) with output 1. EDID set to "copy" and 4K -> 1080: 2,3,4 set to "on".
