These magnetic covers can sit on the inside or outside of the case over the intake fans, they do not restrict the airflow very much and the magnets are strong enough for a good seal. I also cut and adjusted the magnet locations to get more surface area. These covers are large enough to cover most vents but I recommend you measure your vent locations before making the purcase.
