not sure how to actually rate this item. i have not had to use it yet and hope to never have to use it. it does fit in the side x side.

Easy to install and less complicated than using a traditional fire extinguisher

I recommend you prepare these all over the house. I've been through small house fires before, so I can't stress enough how important it is to have a fire extinguisher available. They're something you never think about until you really need it, and there's no substitute for one when it counts. Having these close by can easily take care of small fires right when they start and before they cause any real damage. However, fire extinguishers only are effective on small fires, if there's a big fire just call the fire department and escape.This is the first water based extinguisher I've bought, but I'm glad I did. Cleaning up after powder based extinguisher isn't something I want to ever do again as they make a mess of the entire room and the powder is toxic to inhale, water based have a lot less cleanup and are much safer.Also, these extinguishers are good for all types of fires (paper, wood, combustibles, liquid, electrical, and grease) which makes it a lot easier since it's all in one. These are also cheap enough to where I can buy multiple and put them in different rooms, and makes me confident I will be safe if another house fire occurs.

I like the size, I like how it's lightweight, price is very good. The only thing I would like to be different is the mount; it doesn't hold the extinguisher captive, so if you wanted to mount the can sideways it would slide out of the mount. Then again I haven't seen any other similar extinguishers that have the kind of mount I would want.I haven't yet used it on a fire, but I'm sure it's a lot better than nothing. If you're mounting this upright on a wall then it's 5 stars, but mounting it in a car is more complicated.

Extinguisher is easy to handle and easy to store. In am emergency, I want to be able to get to it fast. Very easy use, just pop off the trigger guard and spray!
