Very good grip going uphill for my BMW which i would ...
Delivered just in time for next morning surprise snowfall :) Normally with my car i would have not even considered getting my car out but with Socks i certainly wanted to give it a go.Very good grip going uphill for my BMW which i would normal not even think of trying , skidded going downhill though few times so watch out. Drove to work which is about 7 miles away at max 20 MPH with roads covered with snow , slush. and ice. Socks were already worn in couple of places by the time i stopped at work place and looking at them i guess i might get another use out of them. So i let you be the judge whether it is value for money or not.

Well worth the money
I wasn’t expecting amazing things from this product. I ordered 2 days before “the beast from the east” and what can I say, wow. Zero wheel spin, was getting up crazy steep hills that without the socks on, I was static and handbrake on, was sliding back down the hill. Socks on, no issue whatsoever. Snow and ice, they lapped it up. Not a single traction control light. As the snow subsided / gritted roads they began to shred as the patches of clear tarmac killed them quickly, as stated in the manual. I was literally going places that 4x4s were getting stuck on. Just keep below 25mph, think ahead for braking and cornering and you will have no problems. They are so good that you get a tad complacent about your grip, lost the rear end a few times on round abouts as my rear tyres didn’t have socks. Bear that in mind and you won’t go far wrong. 10/10

Value for money
Bought these for my Mercedes estate, put them on once the road was covered in snow. Good traction no wheel spin through back lanes with packed snow. Keep an eye on them as I found that they do move out of alignment. But they do work, as I was able to drive on roads that I wouldn’t been able to without these. Ideal get you home kit.

When they were needed they would not fit.
Half an hour trying to put these on in the snow and no joy. They say they are specifically for our tire size... really?Fortunate that there was a place nearby where snow chains could be bought.Really pretty angry about this. The entire family was in the car. We bought these to be safer in case of snow. More fool us.

Work great in snow
We bought these for emergencies, as we often go out into the hills in the snow. We got stuck on a forest track (Dalby forest, for those that know it) and the snow socks got us straight out of trouble! They aren't meant for tarmac, or partly snowy roads, but as you can see in the pic, we tested them fully on fairly deep snow with no problems at all - Highly recommend!
