Very nice hanging rod
I read reviews that said this item was pricey and it is, but it is also very very nice and well built. It’s a nice addition to my wife’s closet to hang items on while she is picking out clothes for the day. She absolutely loves it.

Handsome Extendable Bar but with Some (Solvable) Installation Issues
As you can tell from the subject line, I had some issues installing this bar on drywall. First of all, I hadn't even noticed that the bar came with two screws. They are embedded in the plastic sleeve that protects the bar and could easily be discarded by mistake. Second, they are v-e-r-y short and incapable of being securely fastened in a drywall anchor. I contacted the company at the TAG Hardware website about this and got a prompt reply telling me that they were designed for a specific closet structure and were not intended to be generally useful. Third, when I purchased drywall anchors at the hardware store, they came with panhead screws that protruded too much into the bar's channel to permit the bar to move freely. Even when I returned to the hardware store and got flathead screws to fit the anchors, they still protruded too far. BUT the solution was to remove the small black, plastic cap (Philips-head screwdriver) from the end of the bar during installation and then reattach it once everything was in place. Reattaching was not very difficult but depending on the setting, could pose a problem in getting the screwdriver aligned to screw the cap back in. (Without the cap in place, the bar could slide completely out and be damaged, so you will want to get that cap back in.) All in all, somewhat tricky but not too hard. And if needed, the customer support at TAG was very prompt.

Easy to Install
This valet bar is sturdy and easy to install - no drilling. Just be sure you order the proper size so the hole options line up.
