Pleasantly surprised by how well it's held up (despite impressive levels of abuse) and how long its batteries last before needing replacement.It also added a myriad of ways to connect with other lightsaber forge sets, making multiple set greater than the sum of its parts.

Great product. Some unforeseen cons.
Pros:Lots of pieces for customizability. Good sound fonts. Lots of freedom to add pieces to and from other Forge Lightsabers. Good price for the product. Good plastics. Rubber tips on the short blade and the end piece.Cons:Grip is uncomfortable and large. The emitter piece has a sharp section near the grip, making it uncomfortable at times. The main blade is smaller than most other Forge Lightsaber products. The main blade only has one alignment and cannot be properly aligned in some other Forge Lightsaber products.All in all, this is a very good product and is definitely a good buy. Lots of potential from the product, with some minor drawbacks for older fans, duelists, and collectors.

Fun with lights and sound
My kids love the toy. It's configurable several different ways, and can be disconnected to form two weapons. The blade retracts and extends and lights and make sounds. The best thing is the sound is not too loud!

Customizable.
Normally I rate these after they're opened, but a friend of my child's also has this and let my child play with it. Plenty of fun, does as advertised. The one I bought won't be opened until my child's birthday though. Arrived in perfect shape.
