The one thing I truly don't understand about lawn sand is why it's not more widely available? I have issues with moss due to having very mature trees all round the lawn (hence loads of shade/lack of drainage) and lawn sand (of whatever variety) is the only product that consistently gets rid of it. It's also relatively inexpensive compared with 'feed and weed' concoctions (although I have bought it at around one third of the price of this one - but that's when I could get it elsewhere. So, as a moss killer, it's peerless - if that's the issue with your lawn, this is highly recommended.

It tells you application is 80 g per square metre but nowhere does it tell you the setting for a Scotts EasyGreen rotary spreader. The information about soluble iron sulphate was very helpful!

Good delivery time, no delivery charge so same price as larger stores. Does the job it's supposed to !!

Used this for the first time this year in April. Results are startlingly good. In fact I ran out before the lawn was finished being treated and there was a clear distinction between the bits that had been treated and those that hadn’t. Stronger, greener grass continued to flourish right up until mid summer. I will definitely use it again.

I have already responded on this item. The rating above is purely a guess based on knowledge that the product is well known and probably works well but I have not used it yet and may not do so until the spring when the weather will be better.

I used a scarifier then the lawn sand. Yes its called the moss and the lawn looks lots better

Go for a more common brand in the tub.. this stuff hasn't worked as far as I can see . No blackness in the grass
