## Description

Lineco acid-free adhesive has excellent lay-flat properties and dries clear. Easy to use Polyvinyl acetate (PVA) formula is fast setting and re-moistenable with water. This adhesive was formulated specifically for preservation materials and will not become brittle with age. Adheres to most porous surfaces. Take advantage of the lower cost on gallon containers of adhesives. Now you can use our rugged, reusable plastic pump to dispense small quantities of glue from gallon containers.

Review: This glue works well for all sorts of craft projects, but you have to cut the opening to use it, and let's just say getting the hole size just right has been a challenge. Too small and you you need a plumbing wretch to get the glue out. Too big and you have glue pouring everywhere. But it dries clear and sets pretty quickly. I have found it doesn't work quite as well on smooth surfaces such as jingle bells.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Would this be suitable for gluing torn edges of a very thin bible page. I don't want to see the glue after it dries.**
A: Hi, this will dry clear. I would apply a very thin line, and use wax paper between the treated pages and untreated so it would not stick together. Then place a rubber band around book and place a heavy book on top and let dry for 24hours. My daughter did this with a fragile old book that was over 100yrs old, and repair was flawless! Good luck!

**Q: Is this glue non toxic? It was recomended for use in a diy charcoal mask.**
A: It is rather nontoxic. I use it in small amounts to glue my books and I never use mask.

**Q: does it dry matte?**
A: No, no matte, it's actually glossy transparent.

**Q: Can I use this glue to glue play sand on painting canvas or cardboard?**
A: I use this product to repair old books but I don't see why you couldn't use it for that purpose. It is a very strong and long lasting adhesive.

The glue itself is awesome for book binding because it stays flexible after drying. This is helpful when not using a sewing method of binding. Please note this glue is less expensive at Blick. I can get a 16oz bottle from Blick for 11.66.
