My bike originally shipped with one of the pedals missing a reflector and when I first submitted a ticket to get the reflector replaced, I guess the ticket didn't put the information in the body of the request. After sending a follow up to the ticket, it was answered almost immediately and they sent out an entire set of pedals to replace the one missing the reflector.As for the bike, I'm very satisfied with it. I have a spinal issue that makes most bikes difficult for me to use due having pain to lean forward. With this one, I can sit upright and get some exercise in with minor assistance or go fully assisted when I'm too tired/sore on the trip back. I've already put about 50 miles on it and it's been holding up rather well! Seat is very comfortable... I almost expected to be a little saddle sore since it's been many years since I've used a bike, but I've be pleasantly surprised. I will say the only minor complaints I had was the rear basket and front brakes. It didn't come with instructions on how to mount it and even watching the videos on how to install it, you get the sense that it will slip off if you smack it. That was mitigated by some well-placed zip ties and rubber tubing. Front bakes did need to be recalibrated after putting it together but it's a quick and easy fix.Overall... I'm very happy with this bike.

All I have to say is WOW!!! This is the most awesome bike there is!!!We purchase 2 of the same foldable Ranger Heybikes and they fit both of us. He's 6'1" and I'm 5'6" and work for both of us and love the step-thru option. If you're thinking about getting one, these are what you want. I had no problem putting it together myself, pretty proud of myself. If any questions, there is always videos online or on their website.A couple years ago he had a knee replacement, and this is something we can both do together with the pedal assist helping at times on our rides. You can use them for exercise or just for a joy ride. The bottle holder was a nice perk and can be bent out for a bigger mug. We purchased the foldable one so we can fold them into 2 totes that we purchased at Walmart for $30. The wheels on the totes work perfect when sliding them into our Yukon. We tried it in my Equinox, but too tall, so should be a bigger SUV unless you're laying them down. I purchased a carrier rake for the back to use my Equinox and because they are step-thru you need the adapters. The only suggestion I would ask is that you add an locking adapter on them so when they are folded, they stay that way.All in all, LOVE these and can't wait to ride them every day after work or camping.Thank you Heybike for this wonderful thought-out bike, couldn't ask for anything better!!!!Your happy customers, Mike & Angela

This is our first Ebikes and we are very impressed in the quality, power and longevity of the battery. The bike feels very solid and safe while going fast speeds. The brakes were a bit squeaky but perform very well. I did follow the heybike video on how to reduce some of the squeak and calibrate them. Our first ride we went almost 12 miles and I mostly used throttle only and the battery was still on all bars. I think for sure you could go over 30 miles on throttle only per charge. Also I was able to get bike on flat up to 29mph with pedal assist on 100% battery and gear 7. The suspension is perfect was able to bump up curbs and down with ease. No being used to bikes we did order different seats that are more comfortable. I spent a full day researching these bikes and at one point had 21 different bikes in my cart. These Rangers where selected because of the range, design, foldability, cost, and the reviews overall. Will highly recommend Heybike as a quality brand. A+++!!

I bought this bike as a way to get home from the auto repair shop or back to the shop to pick up my car. I always wanted to get a folding bike for that purpose but an e-bike is a much better and more efficient idea. I stumbled on Heybike as a recommended product review. This after being disappointed by looking at two other e-bike folding bike companies that were highly rated but not so great warranty/customer service reviews by customers.I reviewed the Heybike Site and was impressed with the product offering, especially the 3 choices in folding e-bikes for budget and cost effective purpose. I decided on the Ranger as it was a very cost effective purchase as a class 2-3 bike. It also came with saddlebags. The product was shipped directly by Fed-Ex and they did a good job delivering it except leaving the box upside down, which was clearly marked.The bike itself is well packaged and is heavy to get out of the box. The directions on assembly are not entirely clear and could use some improvement but I was able to figure it out. The bike went together well but getting the battery out of the frame was tough and required a little bending of the metal guide strap but still secures the battery, while being easier to remove.I was able to ride the bike the next morning and even in in the lowest setting the bike takes off at a speed of 16 mph! It was quick, fun, smooth and just a blast to ride. I felt like I was on gas powered mini bike, the wide tires make it super smooth. I like the flashing brake light to warn traffic behind you I have not tried assistance levels 2 or 3 yet but suspect the bike will go like a rocket. The bike is easy to fold but it is heavy, I had to watch a YouTube video to see how the pedals folded by pushing in on the pedals and they fold down or up, flip them back and they are solid again--this was not in the instructions.I had problems with the Heybike app as it would not recognize the Ranger on bluetooth. I emailed Heybike and was informed the Ranger does not connect with the Heybike app. My saddlebags that were supposed to come with the bike as advertised on Amazon did not come with the bike. I wrote Heybike directly and through Amazon. Heybike contacted me right away and told me the saddlebags would be sent separately and they were, but it would have been nice to know this at the time of order. Customer service was very god with other questions, so I have more confidence with this company and am please with the Ranger e-bike. I have several other e-bikes by a well known manufacturer but I like the Heybike Ranger for it's unique style that says I am fun let's go! Good purchase you will be happy.
