I'm delighted with the quality of these belts, which were on sale at a reasonable price. The claw mechanism, which holds the clasp onto the end of the belt, is very secure. The buckle of my previous belt would periodically fall off the end. I don't anticipate a problem with this on these belts. That said, you may wish to trim the belt to size before putting the clasp on because it is challenging to get off again if you need to re-trim the belt. As I've only had these belts for a few weeks I'm not sure what they will look like after a year or two of usage, whether or not the leather will start cracking or the finish on the clasps will get beat up. My initial impression is that the leather will probably hold up better than on my last belt, but only time will tell. The front of the class pulls up in order to release the belt, which is different than having a little knob underneath, I like this style, but it does take a bit of getting used to after having the latch under the clasp style for so long.

I never thought I would like something like this. However, the clever design is a ratchet system that makes putting on the belt and loosening it when you need to all day long very easy.

Bought these belts as I needed some new casual belts and like the ratcheting style. They were easy to trim to length and other than the musty smell, the work great. Time will tell how well they hold up.

Have used ratchet belts for years and years and overall this is a good product and worth the purchase. Only minor complaint is the ratcheting system is a bit finicky. Sometimes with the slightest touch the belt will loosen. Works great still, and not a huge issue, but only thing keeping it from getting 5 stars.

I purchased two different sets of ratchet belts, and these were the worst set of the two. One of the belts didn’t even hold up for six months! The other belts show no sign of ware or issues. There is an option to ask a question to the manufacturer, but it only goes to Amazon handlers, which won’t answer any question past 30 days! Poor/no customer service,I would not buy these again!!! Fire beware.
