The quality is bad, the lid is ofseted and it does not close properly.

Nice sturdy case. You have to be careful when closing it as it really does snap hard. The one downside to this case is, if you have to go through security, it sets off the security machine. Every place I went to they would have to go through my bag, and finally determined it was the case for the glasses. There is a magnet in it somewhere and that is what causes it to snap close and holds it closed but also sets off the security alert. I do like the case. I was informed by one security person, if you take it out of your bag, hold it in your hand straight out in front of you, they can detect that is the item that is causing their machine to go off and they say you can go through without having to go through having your bag searched. Usually, they thank me as I go by.

This is the most compact glasses case that works for me. It's a little smaller in all dimensions than most of them, but the convex shape of the clamshell accommodates the curved bows on my glasses. I got new glasses, slightly bulkier than my old ones, and couldn't fit the case into my smaller handbags. This case fits the glasses and my handbag. It feels solid, opens and closes with authority, and comes with an unusually plush lens-cleaning cloth. (I'm actually wary of the lens-cleaning cloth, however, It seems like it might be a bit abrasive.) Cloth aside, it's a great value for the money and I'm ordering a spare now because it's so uniquely perfect for me.
