Works as expected, reasonable price
Used these with heatsinks and computer power supply to make a heater this past winter for a stray cat that had been hanging around our house for a while. Five resistors in series and a 20VDC had the large heatsinks at about 90F, enough to keep the cat warm and not burn the cat or anything. Put the heater in a rectangular plastic box with a hole cut on one end. Cat used it every night.

Well constructed accurate resistors
If you need accurate resistors that can handle 100W this is what you want!

Very good value
I have read some of the 2 star reviews and must state that putting a resistor on plywood is not the way to evaluate the product! It's like running for example Power Transistor by just hoping that the TO3 housing will dissipate the heat generated, such a nonsense. You must mount the resistors of cause onto a heat sink to make use of 100Watt rating. So, all in all, the product is of a very good quality. I'll buy again if I need more.

Precise resistors
Used these in parallel as a load test for an Amazon power supply.

Great product for measuring battery performance
I bought these to really measure battery performance under load. Just measuring the voltage of a battery with no load isn't very useful, however, measuring the voltage under a heavy load will tell you a lot about the remaining capacity of the battery. I've used these for measuring 12v lead acid batteries, with a 1Ohm resistance, at 12v the power being drawn is P = IV, where both I and V are 12, so 144W which is a little beyond the spec of these, but they work fine for a quick measurement, and a few seconds is long enough to determine if the battery voltage is holding or dropping fast.Great too for measuring 1.5v AAA through D size batteries as a 1Ohm resistor will apply a 2.25W load to the battery - which is a really high load for an AAA battery, and even a pretty decent load on a D size. Finally it's also useful for testing LiION 18650 batteries, these are 3.7v so this hits them pretty hard with a 13-14w load which is close to a 1C discharge for those cells too.
