I got this for my Science Classroom but don’t think it will make it to school. My students would enjoy this light but since the top is very fragile, it would likely break in the classroom. The blue light that emits from the base is aesthetically pleasing and produces a calming, mesmerizing effect. The sounds are a little loud so I probably won’t turn them on too often. Overall, this is a great light that would make a wonderful gift, especially for a teen or anyone interested in Science.

I ordered this to add some extra light to the living room at night, but my 4 year old son was immediately infatuated with it so it soon became his night light. It seems to have a normal mode, breathing effect mode and a slightly brighter mode that may be on a timer(haven't tested that as it starts off too bright for our needs). The "relaxing" sounds may work well in a large room where this is placed far away from the bed but an in average sized bedroom the noise is much too loud to go to sleep with, plus there's seemingly no way to lower the volume. I also don't see why the text on the front has to be so large and permanent, would have liked it more if it was a removable decal or something. I haven't put oil on the op yet either so I cannot speak to its ability to be used an an oil diffuser. Overall if you find this to be beautiful and need a lamp or nightlight, this would be perfect, just keep in mind its on the brighter side of night lights and the noise feature can be a little much for some people.

This is an unusual night light/sleep aid. The glacier/mountain design is beautiful paired with blue light. I like that the plaster mountain top is removeable, but do not plan on putting essential oils on it, because without a proper reservoir for cleaning, I think the smell could become stale over time. I like the passive white noises and the dimmable night light feature. The decal and having to long press/cycle through don't bother me, however I would have liked it even better if it came with an easy to use remote. Recommend.

I got this for the sounds, not the light. I turned the light on and my husband immediately complained and stated that he would not be able to sleep with the blue light being on. The sounds are decent, I enjoy the wave sound the best and I've slept with it on and it didn't disturb me once. I plan on taking this on trips because my husband doesn't sleep well in hotels and the white noise might help him sleep better. I actually got it right after we came home from a trip to the beach where the AC unit kept us up half the night, I wish I had gotten this sooner.

This night light is so beautiful! It is modern and transports you to a different part of the world!It has a lot of weight to it which was surprising! The porcelain top is a little fragile, of course, and I am wondering why it is detachable in the first place as I feel like that makes it a little more prone to breaking.My husband enjoys that it has white noise and I thought it was a cute feature, however; I wish the speaker quality was a little better. Although it lacks in the sound department it is a very beautiful visual that I would highly recommend for gifting!

Wanted to have a unique low light ambiance for home office and this is perfect! I have light sensitivities already so even during the day I keep lights low. When I have to work on screen late this helps give light and background sound. Really appreciate the look along with the options in sound and light levels. It gives an explorer feel. This may be a neat idea as a night light for kids. Happy with this product!

This machine is not great. The glacier on top is like porcelain and could really hurt someone if it is dropped or thrown out of anger. And the instructions are not great and there is no way to turn down the volume and the crickets chirping one is just very very annoying. I honestly wouldn't reccomend
