In my opinion, you can't normally go wrong by buying Stanley tools. My father had quite a collection, probably partly because his name was..... Stanley!I use these primarily for electrical work and this item works well for me. So many less expensive (cheaper in many respects) tools just do not last and get discarded after a few weeks or months simply because they are not up to the job. Keeping your tools clean and, where necessary, oiled or lubricated will be worth the effort in the long run.These wire cutters are sturdy and give me the confidence they will last for many years to come. A good, comfortable feel when you have to apply pressure for cutting.
