Red Liteway Tri-Walker with Seat

I have tried a 4-wheeled walker with a seat. I have tried a 3-wheeled walker with a shopping bag. The 4-wheeler was very stable and useful for taking a break when out and about. The 3 wheeler was not quite as stable but was ideal for indoor locations. It folded up very small for travelling. I couldn't reach items at the bottom of the bag, though so that wasn't very helpful. It was fairly cheap to buy one.After some research I found this compromise: a 3-wheeler with a seat. It was rather expensive, I think, but very useful. It has pockets provided, but they are not easy to get at 'on the go'.The build quality is good, and delivery was prompt. On the minus side, the claim to be fully-assembled was exaggerated. I understand why fitting the handles was necessary, as they were not attached, to make for easier despatch. However, every Velcroed part was practically thrown on and has to be relocated more tightly. The brake cables were not fitted into their retaining clips.I am glad I bought this walker. I have been using it, mainly indoors, for a few weeks now. I find it very helpful. I can sit on the seat to rummage in low kitchen cupboards. The seat enables me to transport items more easily. The folding operation is easy to manage. It could be just what you have been looking for, as it was for me.

I luv this 3 wheeled walker the plus that's its unique because it has a seat although I find the seat hard I bought a cushion it helps make it comfortable when I sit on it I travel everywhere and on public transport such as buses and sometime on train I like when I travel. Its so lightweight I gave a disabity on both my feet a condition I was born with I have pain but this wonderful walker has been a god send to me getting out and about independently that's why I have gave it 5 stars I only gave 4 stsrs for easy to essembke as at time I find it difficult to put together but got there in end.

My husband uses it to move around the house, and to put in the boot of the car to be used at a destination. He is pleased with it for these purposes but is not pleased that the only way to sit on it is to perch one buttock on the seat.

The handles were impossible for elderly arthritic hands to tighten. I didn’t realise there are 2 tightening gadgets and tried to remove the first one after tightening the handle. It fell apart. THEN I realised there were 2 so figured it was not supposed to be removed. Not sure if I can fix the first one and the handle is still not tight enough.Also as you tighten the handles the brake handles get in the way making the whole process way more tricky than it needs to be. The old walker had a simple knob. Not too impressed. It is also heavier than a similar walker with no seat.

I have just put this together, found it easy to do by myself.I would not recommend this wholeheartedly. It is very narrow in width. I weigh under 9st and can just fit on the seat.The seat is very uncomfortable, having the fixings under the back of the seat. If you flopped down you could seriously hurt the base of your spine.I only want it to perch, while waiting for a taxi, so it will do me, but I recommend getting the 4 wheel type with solid seat. I use that all the time. Not this.Update. This does lock after a bit of use, and the mechanism is not under the seat when locked

I have problems walking and it's great that it has a seat not the most comfortable but as it's just for a wee rest it's all I need. I use buses now and again and folds up really small

Good for the purpose required with adjustment on the arms

Bought this for my father-in-law, so easy to put together it is lightweight, good quality at a very reasonable price.
