Thermometers I received are excellent. Exactly as described, except the little tilt arm on the rear is not practical. However there is enough flat surface on the edges that it sits steady, no big deal. I saw just a few reviewers saying they are not accurate. I suppose they could have received a defective product. However accuracy can be subjective based on their expectations are possibly too high. I sold industrial thermometers in 1990s and bought some over time for HVAC service. If you want a super accurate thermometer plan on spending thousands. If you want something that reads in tenths of a degree and reliable repeatability with accuracy within 1/2 a degree for an economical price these are your ticket. I recommend them.

These are way smaller than I was expecting, but they are perfect for what I wanted. I keep one in the babies room and one in the play room. But when needed they move to other rooms very easily.Following the advice of other reviewers, I compared both to my thermostat. One was .5 degrees F higher and one was 2 degrees lower. Not a big enough deal for me to care.

These were exactly what I was looking for. We moved into a new home and the rooms felt like very different temperatures so I wanted to use these to adjust the venting to the rooms. I bought 4 of them and they are accurate, easy to use, small to put in out of the way places, and easily adjustable between Fainheit and Celcius. Inexpensive and recommended

The first product arrived damaged. Perhaps the packaging was not strong enough. I ordered another one, since the (2) reviews were good. After taking the protective tape off the battery on the second one, the LCD display did not show any numbers but showed C or F. I was about to send it back but I decided to take out and reinsert the battery. It has been working now for 2 days. It seems to work now. Why I had to fool with the battery to make it work is not clear to me. There were minimal instructions included, and nothing about the battery. The item I received was a technoline ws-7002, which is different from the name of the item ordered (Duragadget). Update: it's been a couple of weeks and it is working. The minimum/maximum function is nice. As to the accuracy, I have another digital thermometer from Edmonds Scientific and the two thermometers give similar but not the same temperatures. They differ from .6 to 1 degree. I do not know which is more accurate.

Very accurate and easy to use. Quickly responds to temperature changes. I've placed one in a cabinet with my medicine. The min/max feature lets me immediately know if the temperature has remained in the proper range. Very happy with the units and I might buy an addition set.

I bought this because my thermostats for baseboard heat do not have ambient temperature read-out. It is reliable but I took away 1 star because the installation is pretty flimsy (just hangs on a nail on the wall). Overall good product.

Slow delivery and the two temperatures did not match up, the two units are 3 tenths of a degree off from each other at all times when sitting next to each other. Good value though

Exactly what I wanted. Compact, great for each room and accurate. Would order again and recommend to others. Very useful.

They function perfectly well and user friendly, although not very accurate. Next to each other, one will read a degree centigrade different from the other one, and both are different from the one with the line of liquid in that I already had. So I have no idea which is right. But they do give an indication, at least, if the room is excessively hot or cold and you get used to what it needs to say in each room. (I have one in the lounge and one in the bedroom) I have health issues so I can't always tell if it's the room or me that is too hot or cold without checking so these are useful for me for that reason. They are small and fall over easily depending where they are. And you need a light on to see them at night as they don't have a light built in. But they are good enough.

My central heating thermostat doesn't give a reading of the actual room temperature and the rooms can feel cold although the radiators don't come on. I can now see what the room temperature actually is in both downstairs rooms, which gives me more faith in the central heating system. The thermometers are very neat, unobtrusive and easy to set up and read. Being elderly I can even switch to 'old style' Fahrenheit if I want to.

Items arrived well within anticapated delivery period 2 to 3 days. Thermometers were as described matchbox sized, no problems with battery compartment mentioned by other sellers. The thermometer is powered by a "button" type battery and you just remove the sellophane protector to activate battery. Thermometer can stand alone on a surface or wall mounted. I bought them to check room temperature in room with a wood burning stove and in other areas in the house to see how well the heat travelled. The thermometers are within 0.1 of a degree of the central heating thermostat in our hall which is fairly accurate. Very pleased with purchase and price, but postage a bit steep but still worth it overall and would recommend.

EXCELLENT DURAGUDGETIt was worth waiting for this thermometer and I was pleasantly surprised by its accuracy by doing some comparison tests. Both devices showed exactly the same temperature reading. Being an electronics engineer I treat every gadget with suspicion until tests proved otherwise.This is an excellent product that I recommend. I should award it 5 stars but unfortunately the only thing that stop me of doing so is the high charge on postage and packing. I am therefore awarding the device with 4 stars.

Nice looking item. Unfortunately they do not accurately reflect the true room temperature. It is necessary to add at least one degree to the digital figure shown to reflect the correct temperature.
