My family has bought these chongos since a was a little kid, and loved them. I read bad reviews, do not know why, they taste like they are supposed to taste, is a traditional Mexican desert made of milk, it has a unique consistency and maybe that is why people do not like them, they are super sweet, I would recommend to toss the syrup because is pretty sweet, has cinnamon. Delicious.

Beware If you get a bad batch you won’t get a refund. I have bought this brand before and loved it. I just revived my order and when I opened it the Chongos were bad no taste no sweet flavor just plain spoiled milk flavor. Tried to get a refund and but they won’t give me one due to “product safety”. Ridiculous customer service.
