great
he Learning Resources Lily Pad Letter Hop game is a great way for kids to learn while having fun! It's perfect for kids aged 5+, and it helps them learn CVC words, sight words, spelling, word making, and fine motor skills. The game is really easy to play. Just launch your frog into the letter pond to collect lily pads and build CVC words. The goal of the game is to build three-letter, CVC words with every turn. The more words you build, the more points you earn! The game is also a great way for kids to develop their fine motor skills. Launching the frog and collecting the lily pads requires hand-eye coordination and dexterity. Plus, the game is really fun, so kids are more likely to stick with it and practice their skills. If you're looking for a fun and educational game for your child, I highly recommend the Learning Resources Lily Pad Letter Hop game. It's a great way for kids to learn essential literacy skills and develop their fine motor skills at the same time.

Great educational game
This is such a fun educational game for kids and has become a really useful learning tool in our home.Just as all other learning resources toys, all of the materials used for the game are well made and good quality. The instructions are easy to use and follow. My 5 year old loves it and finds it useful to practice her spellings and phonics.

Excellent learning game
This is a well made, good quality game, ideal for helping kids who are starting to learn to read and write to identify and learn to spell three letter words. The frog and lily pad theme helps to make it more engaging than just using basic letter/phonic cards. I would have loved to have had this game during lockdown, I think it would make an excellent home teaching aid.I think this game has been very well thought through by the designers. One of the things I like best about it is that the dice is nice and big so you don’t have to worry about it getting lost or being a choking risk if you have smaller children around. My three year old loves board games but isn’t very good at tidying up after himself so I’m constantly paranoid that my baby is going to end up choking on a dice! The only downside is that I’d say it has a very limited age range where it will appeal to kids, it’s best for 4-6 year olds, so not an ideal game if you have a wide age range of children in your family who want to play a game together. Older children would find it a bit easy.

Perfect educational game
I ordered this for my 4 year old who has just started reception. He is loving learning phonics and reading so I knew he would love this game. Really fun way of spelling our words. Different levels of play, and all the family can help. Good quality game from learning resources.

Easy and fun game for early years
We've just started to build up a collection of board games for our 4.5 year old son. He's currently spending a lot of time on ABCs, phonics and numbers, in and out of school. The product arrived well packaged and in immaculate condition.Learning Resources Lily Pad Letter Hop is ideal for young children who are just grasping the alphabet completely and can start to form, practice and learn 3 letter words with phonics. There are 12 little frogs in different colours and 67 lily pads in total. You can have up to 4 players and we played with 3 of us.I like the fact that there are different levels of play, so the board game will grow with his learning ability. It's great for problem solving, critical thinking and fine motor skills, as there are challenges along the way.Overall, I'm impressed by the quality of the board and the pieces, the playability and value for money.

playful leap into literacy
Combining play with learning, this game has been nothing short of a revelation. The concept of using frogs to collect lily pads, each imprinted with letters, truly engaged the young ones. Beyond just word-building, it's a phenomenal way to hone fine motor skills and critical thinking. The variability in levels ensures that it caters to different age groups, making it a versatile tool for educators and parents alike.

Finally something to get my son excited about learning…
My five year old needs some extra help with letter sounds and sight words. Tried other games and activities, but this is the first one he is excited to play and wants to keep playing. I would highly recommend.
