Bought these for my husband for Christmas. He’s a big fisherman so he thought they were great. Get tons of compliments on them. Cool wow factor!

Machined and anodized aluminum, really good quality. However, they leak salt and pepper without even turning the handle, and when you want a lot of S&P, barely anything comes out. They're a really good table topper for the avid fisher but not the most practical for the money.

Ordered these recently as a gift for my Dad. He really enjoys fishing, and I thought these would be a really unique gift. While they seemed a bit pricey, they were almost half the cost of other, similar products I had seen online, and this was a gift after all! I have to say that they didn't disappoint. They definitely look and have the heft of a large ocean fishing reel, like Okuma, and grind the salt and pepper exactly as expected. My dad keeps these out on the kitchen table now and really gets a kick out of the comments guests make when they see them for the first time. If you're a fishing enthusiast, or know someone who is, I don't think you'll be disappointed with these. My Dad definitely wasn't!

These are a lot smaller than you would think to begin with. The grinding mechanism feels like it will not last long. The fill area is super small and the cover flings around too easily, the contents spill out. Over all, these are worth about $40. Very disappointed.

I have had this product for many years and it has continued to function like new.Galleyware Ocean Reel Salt and Pepper grinders will last you a lifetime.Makes a great gift.Yes it is expensive but when you breakdown the cost over the many years you will have these it is worth it.

Work really well and look and feel solid like they are worth >$100. Only bad thing is they are so fun to use so sometimes my food is over seasoned....jk! Also, make sure you buy the teak stand (sold separately)
