Very good book , you will learn a lot from this book and its an easy interesting read
I really enjoyed this book, makes the learning process easy and enjoyable and you will end up with some very useful new skills. Read it cover to cover and practice all the tests and electrics will seem a lot less complicated to you.

simplified and genuinely helpful
Firstly, it must be pointed out that this book is generic and should be used alongside your workshop manual. However, it comprehensively takes you around motorbike circuitry, with the aid of diagrams, making it a most understandable book on motorcycle electrical systems and really useful if you are engaged on a bike re-build. Personally, the electrical system is something that I have always been nervous about tackling, but this book makes the idea seem possible and a workable option. It advises on tools and equipment and how to use them, covers all aspects of electrical systems including electronic fuel injection and has a section for troubleshooting electrical faults. Simple diagrams and good photography, makes this well produced book a good addition to the workshop manual: recommended.

everything you needed to know
I`ve had various books on electrics over the years all full of unfathomable blurb. This author cuts straight through all that and gets right to the tests you need to do and how it works in laymen's terms. I have had so many ohhhhh, that's how it works! moments :) Worth every penny.

Excellent guide
Has some really useful guidance and is well put together. It explains each of the bikes electrical systems / components and guides you through fault finding techniques. Have already recommended it to a colleague at work and he's bought one and fixed his charging issue. Great reference book.

excellent resource
Excellent resource that covers the material specifically as claimed. Teaches in a conversational and enjoyable to read style. Takes someone who is not an electrical engineer through the necessary basics of electrical process specifically as it applies to motorcycle systems. Just enough theory for required understanding without extraneous complicated equations. It does cover with significant detail all material needed to allow the motorcycle owner to become fully versed with how electricity travels through the motorcycle. It clearly describes how to troubleshoot problems and then fix them. It includes lots of large, helpful diagrams and photos. After reading this book I have a profound confidence that the mystery of wiring diagrams and unseen electrical gremlins can be discovered, understood and fixed using this book and some inexpensive and readily available tools and materials. Great book by a talented author. I will look for other books he has written because I know I will likely enjoy those as well.

Great for someone just learning
I have not completely read it but, from the position of knowing nothing about electrical systems. This is a good book. It starts at a basic level and goes from there.
