Good value and decent little radio but we got it mainly for use as an alarm clock - a bad move. Setting the alarm clock requires about ten actions and fumbling around for the instruction manual. There might only be 6 buttons to master but given that they do different things on 'long press' and 'short press' means you have to remember which button and what kind of press length to employ. And then you have to be awake enough to make sure you don't accidentally press the button for more (or less) time than the critical long/short period. If you always get up at the same time (or have a degree in alarm clock setting) then it's a good radio. If you want something where you can quickly set the alarm as you tumble into bed use your mobile phone instead...

Nice little radio with good sound, but the alarm has a minimum volume setting, so can't be set to come on at low volume, which makes it way too loud, otherwise 5 stars.

Instructions complicated, but otherwise excellent.

This clock radio works fine, and I can listen to my favourite DAB channel. However - setting the alarm - my goodness it is COMPLICATED!!! Just to turn the alarm on or off requires delving into multiple two-later deep menu options. I’m a software engineer yet need the manual to hand. What’s wrong with hours / mins and an on/off button goodness only knows!!

Complicated enough to set up, but if you want to change anything, lets say the alarm time, you have to fumble through loads of menu settings and button pressing options. Super tricky at 1.00am in the morning.Only buy if you are a member of MENSA and never get drunk.
