I had never used castor oil before but I’ve always heard many great things. So many uses for one simple product. I love that it comes in a dark container and with a pump. So far we have used for sore muscles on my husbands back, I use it monthly for myself abdominally and it’s great for hair growth. My hair has not only gotten thicker is some spots but has grown almost an inch in the 2 months I’ve been using every other week. Castor oil is a must have for every house!

There is a lot to like about this product, and it certainly seems genuine. I have used this brand before and always been pleased. I have not used the body castor oil pack, nor have I used it as a garden pest deterrent (though I might, given the success other reviewers mention). I find it too thick to use as a moisturizer in the traditional rub-on-before-bed routine. It would make ones' sheets very sticky as the oil does not 100 percent absorb when used alone. I also found it too thick for using with my hair as even after rinsing it weighted my fine hair down too much--so, nope, it won't work for me as an after shampoo conditioner.So what do I use it for? I find that mixing a bit in my hands with my soap lather makes for excellent results in showering and keeps the soap from drying my skin. Also, I have used it as a carrier for tea tree and (or) bergamot to treat my rosacea. I mix a few drops of either the tea tree or bergamot into about a teaspoon of the castor oil and apply to my face and leave it on for about an hour. When I wash it off (or just rinse in warm water), my skin is very soft and I am amazed at the improvement in the rosacea. Enough of the castor oil remains in a light touch after rinsing to act as a moisturizer and it works fine under make-up and with other facial lotions. This is such a big bottle, it should last me practically forever in using it these ways.The scent seems genuine, and natural, and rather neutral to me. I wouldn't use it for perfume but it certainly does not offend me.There are many more uses I might try with this, and if I find radical success or terrible failures, I will report back. For now, count me happy with this product though, yes, I too wish it did not come in a plastic bottle.

Seems just as nice as the small dropper bottle of castor oil I have. Light, nutty, natural scent. Absorbs well and is highly moisturizing.

The texture of this caster oil considered to be heavy weight, thick and not runny. It is clear color with no scent. Ordered the item for soap making, it greatly improve the moisture level and lathering. Recently learned that the oil can be used as laxative, perhaps would try when needed. Feel very comfortable of using the oil since it's 100% natural and also produced in United State. Quality product to recommend.

After using castor oil, I feel that my hair and skin have become significantly soft and moist. For me, especially in the dry season, it helped me solve the problem of dry hair and tight skin. I also like its pure natural ingredients, which makes me feel like I'm using a healthy and safe product. In addition, I also found that it can be used as an essential oil plant carrier oil, making it more convenient to mix other essential oils. In general, I am very satisfied with this castor oil and will continue to use it as one of my skin care products.

This castor oil is extremely moisturizing, it helped heal my chapped cracked hands due to change in environment within a week. It goes on thick, and best to not touch or do much while this absorbs, as it will get everywhere. It’s clear and smells as castor usually does, so I’m confident this is real 100% oil based on my experience.

I was looking for a cold pressed Castor Oil, and this one is not only cold pressed, but made in Wisconsin. I use Castor Oil for a lot of different things and this one has just the right texture. Since it's just pure castor oil, there are no synthetic ingredients and no preservatives. It makes a great carrier oil blended with other essential oils. The bottle comes in a 16 ounce size with a dark bottle to protect it from UV damage. It's full of vitamin E and Omega fatty acids. Very happy to have found this brand of Castor Oil.

This product has it all right. The container, price point, pump and product all align. For those of us with sensitive skin, this is a scent free natural product that can be used anywhere. I use it on my scalp before bed then wash my hair in the morning; I also use it on my lips and around my mouth to reduce marionnette lines and around my eyes to plump up my fine lines. It doesn't stain my pillow or react with anything.

Purchased this castor oil for use on hair and eyebrows. First time using castor oil so I can’t comment on comparisons but I like this product. The pump bottle is very convenient, the oil isn’t scented and it does a great job at hydration. I think the bottle will last me a long time because it seems like a little goes a long way!
