I bought this to move my queen mattress and honestly didn’t expect much, since I originally planned to use it once and throw it away. However, the quality turned out to be much better than anticipated, and I can definitely reuse it. It’s not fully waterproof unless you seal the edges, but it still performed better than the cover provided by the moving company—theirs ripped, while this one held up perfectly. There was enough room to tie the corners, which is great if you have a thicker mattress and need some extra wiggle room. I would absolutely use this again and recommend it for moving or storage.

Bought for my twin XL mattress to move, and honestly is a lot better quality than I thought I was getting. Was originally only going to use it once then toss, however I can still use it! I have a very heavy 14 inch hybrid mattress and this bag fit well with room to spare. I watched my movers bag the mattress, tape it up, pick the mattress up by the bag (because there are no handles), then carry the mattress down four flights of stairs and into the truck. They then carried the mattress out of the truck and a full city block to my new place, and dropped it on my floor. Throughout all of this lugging and abuse, there were zero holes in this bag. The movers commented this was the strongest mattress bag they had ever used. The bag was expensive ($15) but it was worth it for the 4 mil thickness. I'm planning on saving it and reusing it, though it did tear a little bit when the movers were trying to rip the tape off. I was slightly annoyed about the tear, but the tape stuck to it so well that it wouldn't come off the bag... and I feel like this makes it ideal for long-term storage where tape would need to really hold for a long time. I'm knocking a star off NOT for the tear, but rather for the lack of handles. I suspect that handles built into this bag would probably easily tear, but if this bag was packaged with some sort of adjustable acrylic webbing that wrapped around the bagged mattress, then it could be much more easily picked up by the webbing without all the awkwardness and risk of tearing the bag. Overall, a solid product and I would 100% buy it again.

First time having to use a mattress cover to move our son into his campus housing. Fit perfectly and worked beautifully. No rips or tears. I really like Utopia products!

I had to move and I found this affordable and cheap plastic to put on my mattress and its good. Comparing to other places or even storage rentals they want to charge you $20 for a damn plastic bag.

This mattress bag has held up very nicely. Its thick enough to not just rip open if it gets dropped or pulled. It was very easy to slide over the mattress and I liked that it had enough wiggle room.
