Great barefoot shoe for the price!
Fit is great. They look good and are sturdy. Walked all around Amsterdam and London without any issues and was a comfortable wear. For barefoot shoes they're nicely priced. The only time I felt anything was when walking on sharp pebbles or on cobblestones. Otherwise they're a great walking shoe.

Comfy wide fit shoe
I've read a lot about these shoes and I must say after ordering my first pair, that they are a great casual shoe. I have wide feet and these are true to size, the quality seems ok, they are very comfortable. The delivery was free and very quick.

They are barefoot shoes
I’ve had these shoes for a while now so I thought I’d share a review. I brought these after having a more expensive pair of barefoot shoes. The are true barefoot shoes which are light and have a wide toe box. Sizing is spot on.I have found them pretty comfortable but I do find that where the last eyelet is on the outside part of the shoe has a tendency to rub my little toe, not bad enough for blisters but I know it’s rubbing which I do not get with my other barefoot shoes.Would I buy another pair of Hobibear shoes, yes but they would be a different design.

Great pair of shoes with wide toe box
**Hobibear Shoes Review**I've been using my Hobibear shoes as my daily commute footwear for a while now, and I must say, they have exceeded my expectations in many ways. One of the standout features is the great wide toe box, which provides ample room for my toes to spread naturally. This makes them incredibly comfortable, especially during long walks or extended wear. I often forget I’m wearing them because they’re just that comfortable. In terms of quality, these shoes offer excellent value for the money. The materials and construction are robust, ensuring they can withstand the daily grind without showing significant signs of wear. They feel durable and well-made, which is impressive given their affordable price point.I've also found them to be fantastic for long-haul flights. I used them on a trip to the US and back, and they were the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn for travel. They’re easy to slip on and off, making airport security a breeze. However, one drawback I've noticed is their performance in wet conditions. My feet do get wet if it's particularly rainy, but they dry quickly. This is a minor inconvenience that doesn’t detract from their overall functionality and comfort, especially considering the price. They're much cheaper than more expensive brands while delivering similar quality.Overall, Hobibear shoes have become my go-to for daily commuting and travel. They’re comfortable, well-made, and offer great value. If you're looking for a reliable pair of shoes for daily wear and long flights, these are definitely worth considering.

Soft comfortable flexible good value
For the price these are excellent. I have suffered with pain in my foot muscles for almost 1 year, I have been treated by a Sports physio who recommended barefoot shoes. I didnt want to pay a huge amount in case it didn't help. So I chose these as it's not too much to try them out. As soon as I put them on I was like- ahhhhhh, that's nice. They are so comfortable, soft, flexible, light. They make me move more lightly on my feet and I am more aware of how my foot is moving, stretching and feels. I think these could be the way forward for me. I have quite wide feet and take a 5.5 to 6. I ordered a 6, they're fine. I may order a 5.5 for comparison. I ve walked around all afternoon and my feet feel relaxed, not all sore and tense like they usually feel at the end of the day. If you're unsure about barefoot shoes, then definitely give these a try, they could be just what you ve been looking for.

Good and wide fitting but quite flimsy
The wide fit for my feet was really good and comfortable, no side pinching that I would have with even a size up of normal footwear. I measure UK 7.5 size and extra wide (I measure 2V,4E = 256mm around widest point), so I took a size UK 8/EU42 to be sure they would fit with thicker socks etc. So no problem with enough width room, and being lace up you have adjustment. They are very comfy with flat removeable foam insoles, for reference there is no arch bump support at all. I have tried putting arch support insoles in and they are roomy enough to allow that, but the heal of the shoe is quite low at the back so if you used a high heal insole/footbed it may be an issue. My overall opinion of these made in China shoes is that they are expensive for what they are, when you compare with a lace up pair of pumps or slippers which is basically what they are. The soles are only like you would get on thin rubber slippers, and the uppers are just an open weave man made canvas which you can feel the air through as you walk.... so not really something you would consider for a wet UK climate outdoors, ok in dry sunny weather or driving but not much else. Not really worth the money at all (probably twice or three times what they are worth) but I have no real choice with really wide feet unless you spend a fortune, so these are just about ok for light duty on flat dry ground or indoors, absolutely no good for wet weather or rough stoned paths etc.

Good value and authentically minimal
For context: I have been a minimal runner for 10 years and very often I have used old running shoes as my day to day wear. But these I bought just for day to day, not for running. I'm quite impressed. They look and feel cheap, but I also paid a cheap for them (33 GBP). Good things: they are absolutely zero drop, the sole is quite flexible, and they are broad across the forefoot. Negatives: with the insoles, they are actually a bit more cushioned than I would prefer. Without the insoles they would be too big, but otherwise, I think the sizing is spot on compared to my other shoes. Unfortunately, the fit around the heel is too slack and this is one reason why I wouldn't run in them. The other is durability. Time will tell, but I'll be happy if I get a year of day to day wear out of these. Also, as other reviewers have commented, these are not suitable to winter conditions. However all in all, much cheaper than main brand minimal shoes, so good value overall
