Take Me With You

Make it this one. It may be short but the poetry makes you think and stays with you for a long time. I love Andrea's work <3

I was so impressed I shared it with a visiting friend. Andrea Gibson's work feels like the home we wish we had. The book take me with you , I did just that. I took it on the train. The poems are very short yet deep and very relatable. I am thankful to see this work and even YouTube her spoken word poetry

Every single word is gold. I absolutely adore this writer. I bought this and another one of theirs for my Mom while she was going through chemotherapy. They are perfect.

This is a great companion on a road trip, on a bedside or coffee-table. The book is a new format for Gibson - it's not a "traditional book of Poetry" but more of a "greatest hits." format It has some of Andrea's best lines from older poems as well as some new material spattered in. It's separated into 3 categories: On Love, On Becoming and On The World. You can open to any page and find some fun one-liners or a thoughtful couplet. The Illustrations are adorable. I love this book.

Some of the poems are quite relatable, especially to anyone battling mental he's issues.Quite a short, easy read. I'd recommend

This book has provided much comfort and understanding to me about several things. It really helped me cope after the suicide of a friend. I have purchased a copy to gift to someone else who was struggling.

Andrea Gibson is my favorite living poet and this book of excerpts and quotes does not disappoint!! Was so wonderful to read before listening to their new album. Beautiful, inspiring words by Andrea, as always...

on cloud nine after being able to buy at least one book written by this god gifted human being. though thr book was bent and the cover has bent marks now which I didn't expect really but as long as ut can be read or more accurately 'felt', I am satisfied.

Andrea Gibson’s prose is so deceptively simple and so perfectly crafted that with very few words she is able to evoke multiple ideas and images. I can read this over and over again and find more meaning every time. Wonderful.

Andrea Gibson's poetry takes you on an emotional journey, opens your eyes to struggles you may have not been aware off, and delivers a positive message and outlook. A thought-provoking but soothing companion.

Or not. A pinprick to a punch. I love that Andrea’s words can evoke a range of feelings and emotions in me still. This book gives and gives. Read it.
