PEBEO Studio Gouache Fluid Paint, Velvet Matte Formula, 220 ml Bottle - Permanent White

White Gouache goes so fast. I couldn't find any really good refill ones. Then I came across this, couldn't figure out if this was "acrylic" gouache or regular... It is traditional REGULAR gouache. It is perfect! So glad I found this! Great price and a ton of product!

This is a nice gouache. As many artists know, white is king. It covers as well as the more expensive brands and mixes well to lighten other colors. It has a nice creamy consistency. I’ve used other Pebeo paints with good results but until now I didn’t know they made gouache. I’ll try other colors!

Studio Gouache is a creamy opaque water paint. The texture is very rich and smooth. It mixes well with either other Studio colors or Reeves brand Gouache, the only other brand I have used. A little gouache goes a long way. However, you can't have too much white for mixing! Very good price for excellent paint.

This Pebeo studio gouache comes in such a large size that I am able to use it in ways most watercolor and gouache can’t really be used. I paint large abstract paintings with this and the white especially is wonderful to mix with colored gouache or to add pigments. I only wish I could afford every color of this stuff! The only down side is that since it is student grade, some colors do raise up through it somewhat. But that can have its plus side when used intentionally.

Probably as most artists do, I use a lot of white and black, so I wanted a BIG tube and I wanted a very bright white. This tube did it for me! It's not only nice and large, but the white is brilliant, the right consistency, and blends just beautifully with my other paints. I couldn't be more pleased. I'll re-order this exact same product when I run out.

I don’t know why Amazon asked for a sheerness rating Oman opaque product...but, here goes: I’ve compared this gouache alongside Windsor-Newton and M. Graham...the only white gouache I’d used until I bought Pebeo. Cant tell the difference! The cost for this tube, 20 times the size of others for less? How can you go wrong? Great value!

Not super opaque. Can't go over darks with it, but it will help you save your opaque whites for those occasions. Creamy and mixes very well.

Definitely more of a student grade gouache in terms of texture. However, it is a great value size-wise and I am happy about that.

Absolutely love the giant tubes of gouache by this brand!Always coming back for the white and blue since I use them alot!

Sehr gute Gouache Farbe zu einem angemessenen Preis. Die Deckkraft ist wirklich gut. Mit Wasser sehr gut zu dosieren.

loving these paints. good for paper board or canvas. though i think they 'pop' better on canvas.
