Fats Domino (February 26, 1928 New Orleans, Louisiana - October 24, 2017 Harvey, Louisiana), was one of the most important figures in the development and popularization of rock 'n' rollFats Domino represented the bridging of the previously yawning gap between the black R&B market and the white mainstream commercial pop scene during the middle years of the 1950s.
