These are great, they trim my hedges with ease. Small branches 1/2 inch or 12 mm no problem. Battery life is very good, however, when you pull the trigger the shears work so keep your fingers clear. Makes clipping a doddle I'd reccomend these.

Outstanding power in the jaws. Uses hardly any battery power. Little bit heavy with 5ah battery attached, but still very useable.

This product has been indispensable while trimming back thick branches which are often beyond hedge trimmers. Charge holds up well and can last for hours. I have a tennis elbow and have found it easy to lift and use for prolonged periods.

Bought this to help clear smaller branches and various other plants from around our home. I already have a lot of Dewalt cordless tools, so having looked on YouTube, I decided to give this pruner a go. Very impressed with how easy it cuts stuff up and is a lot easier to use than a normal pair of hand pruners. My wife who has arthritis finds it a lot easier to use. Although it wasn’t the cheapest, I think you’d be hard pressed to find a better value tool for the money. It is well balanced, and has a good safety lock built in. Also, I have been using a 5AH battery which hasn’t even used one bar of its life yet, so I would think even a 2AH battery should be plenty.

Very handy so far. I used it to trim loose hedge ends and it handled the job well without any issues. It feels comfortable in the hand, isn’t too heavy, and has a solid, well-made feel to it. The cutting performance seems good and it feels more than capable for general garden jobs. Happy with it so far and would recommend it.

I'm a gardener and equipped with all the usual array of tools required. But, its pruning season and my hand is getting a real kicking with repetitive secateur action causing great discomfort. I suffer with my hand grip anyway so invested in the Dewalt power secateur. First use appeared a little bulky, obviously when I'm used to my Niwaki Japanese manual shears but I soon got used to this. It's incredibly sharp, a quick cut and release action, and actually quite comfortable to use. I'm a Dewalt follower anyway so use the batteries on other tools. I'd suggest at least using the 2 AH batteries or higher if your intending to use it on a mission. I was very impressed how quick I condensed the branch remains of a fruit tree into a garden waste bin! With the 3 year warranty and it's a no brainer. The safety switch is initially fiddly but it's there for a reason. Best gadget I've purchased for ages!!! Don't waste your money on another brand. This tool has awesome cutting power. Cut very well. Easy to use. A bit on the heavy side, probably not for a man.

Dovendo affrontare un grosso lavoro di giardinaggio a casa mia, ho comprato queste cesoie per non distruggermi le mani. Non so fare paragoni rispetto ad oggetti della sua categoria, né mi interessa farne perché ho già altri attrezzi DeWalt, e quindi la scelta di questo marchio era d'obbligo, però rispetto alle forbici manuali siamo su un altro pianeta. Queste cesoie tagliano senza problemi rami da 4cm, e lavorano in maniera eccellente anche con i legni un po' appiccicosi, che intralciano l'apertura di quelle manuali. Consumano anche pochissima batteria. L'unico problema è l'estrema pericolosità! Il costruttore ha progettato un sistema piuttosto articolato per evitare pressioni accidentali del grilletto, ma nonostante questo capita di tirarlo per sbaglio, e la cosa fa un po' rabbrividire. Queste cesoie vanno usate con estrema, estremissima attenzione!
