I don't wear a lot of lip products because I am super picky about them. However, the color is absolutely gorgeous and I thought I would give this liquid velvet lip tint a try and I am so glad I did! Uncommon is a pretty shade of red which made my blue eyes POP! I had no other makeup on when I first tried it and thought that I could get away with applying a little mascara and that's it because the lip tint is the star of the show. The texture is smooth, creamy, and lives up to its velvet name. I don't like dry lips, and thought I would need to apply some lip oil overtop of it to give it a shine, but I didn't need any with this product which is a huge win for me.The only reason why I gave it 4 stars is because some came off while I was drinking from a straw so I had to constantly wipe down the straw after each sip. For those who are used to wearing lip color, that may be a nonissue, but thought it would be worth mentioning for those who would like to know. I will say this, I wore it for a few hours and each time I looked in the mirror, I noticed that the color was still vibrant and there was no need for touchup which is great.Overall, I think the color Uncommon is stunning and plan on using this for an upcoming wedding I am invited too.

I absolutely LOVE this lip color. I don't wear a lot or buy a lot of makeup, and to date my experience with a long wear lip color has been what I can pick up at the drugstore. I am thrilled with the color, feel, and longevity of this product.I have fair skin with cool tones, and I have been looking for a flattering color that doesn't lean too heavily in any of the pink/red/brown/purple directions. I also don't like really dark or really light colors as they wash me out. Finding a medium-toned color that fits the bill has been challenging, but I feel like this color was custom-made just for me. This is a wonderfully balanced mauve, and the hint of beige also perfectly tones down the pink and purple, leaving you with a great neutral shade. It truly was a wow moment when I first put it on. I wanted to share a picture, but my camera is turning it hot pink when it really is not anywhere close to that shade.Having been buying drug store lipstick, the long-wear colors typically come with two tubes...one with the color, which feels thick and look dry, hence the second balm or gloss tube to add moisture. I don't know how the manufacturer did it, but this one managed to combine the two tubes into one. It goes on so smoothly and doesn't shrivel your lips when it dries. You get a smooth, truly matte finish that feels like it's moisturizing your lips while you wear it.Is this a 24-hour lip color? No. But you can get several good hours out of it before reapplying if you don't rub your lips too much. The first time I applied it, I couldn't help but keep rubbing my lips together because I was amazed at how moisturizing the color was. That made the color come off pretty quickly, especially since it probably hadn't fully dried yet. The next day, I applied it and left it alone for 10 minutes to make sure it was fully dry, and I made sure that I didn't rub my lips together a lot. The color lasted much longer, surviving drinking and a small snack. It kept going strong until dinner time when the last of it disappeared. But I got six good hours out of it, so that's okay with me. I carry my lip color in my purse in case I need to reapply it, so having to do so a second time during the day does not bother me.I am really a super fan of this lip color...the shade is beautiful, it feels great, and it can last a decent amount of time if you leave it alone. I will definitely buy it again.

After wearing that HINCE SLIM-FIT LIQUID VELVET LIP TINT for several hours, I like it better now than I liked it initially. When I first applied it, I thought it was a little too pink for me. When I ordered it I expected it to be a little bit closer to a red tint than a pink tint.After eating, drinking, and several hours passing by, I actually liked the color of my lips, which looked stained slightly redder than usual, in a very flattering and natural way. I couldn't really see any traces of the lipstick, I had applied earlier, but clearly some of it was still present and possibly even absorbed by my lips. It really is much more of a lip stain than an actual lipstick, after most of the topcoat wears off.One of the best things about this lipstick/stain is that unlike similar long lip wear products, that are also applied with a foam tipped applicator that gets dipped into the product, this one is moisturizing for your lips, and not drying at all. The ones that are really drying do tend to stay on, and be visible for much longer. But, because they are so dry, they are unflattering, where as this makes your lips look moist and soft, even if you sacrifice little lip color drama, after wearing it a few hoursIf you order this, you will see what I mean about the way it goes on a little cakey, looking one color, and is totally different several hours later, in both consistency and color.I think this is priced fairly and I like it. I think I'll use it a lot.
