I have a 1999 jeep cherokee sport. This model has the overhead console with 4 map lights. The bulbs were yellow and dim. So I ordered these. I read the reviews, and although there are people who said they are incorrect, the customer service is outstanding. So I bought them. They sent several led bulbs, a diagram, and a tool. The footwell lights and license plate lights were correct. I only received one of the type for my overhead console (mine is one I highlighted in orange) and the rear overhead light in front of the hatch. So I emailed them and also included the diagram and a picture of my overhead bulb. They quickly sent the 4 I needed the next day The picture has the old bulb and new led next to each other. You can see the difference in color and brightness (led is on the right). The bulbs installed are all good. I was surprised how bright they are. They are polar sensitive, so if they don't work simply turn the 180 degrees. I would highly recommend these to anyone with an older xj. They are good quality. I didn't expect them to have a set for each trim model of the xj, so expected to have an issue. I received email responses within a day. So I give them 5 stars for quality and customer service.

my god are these bright. i got these for my bfs xj and lemme tell ya. i can see every pore on my face with the sun visor mirror and these lights now. they’ve lasted a while now and no issues and they do indeed fit a 1998 xj. cool lights

Lights all fit perfectly and seem to be very good quality. My 98 xj sport has the overhead console therefore it has 5 “festoon” style bulbs instead of the provided 1 that this kit comes with. 4 are for the overhead console and one for the trunk light. I emailed the manufacturer, and they were very quick with sending me 4 additional festoon bulbs at no cost. I was even able to use one of the extra LEDs for the engine bay light. There were about 4 LED’s that I did not use on my jeep, but I believe they would be used on other trim models. I would definitely recommend this kit to anyone with an XJ.

Dollar for dollar possibly the best upgrade to my XJ! Very bright and gave it a new feel. Fairly easy to install. Got 2 of the sun visor ones backwards, flipped them and that fixed it. Buying another set for my other XJ now. Don't have the map overhead lights so I did have extra that I did not use. Not sure how they last but I am impressed on install.

Nice lights, easy to install. I just need a few more for the overhead console and can’t figure out how to contact the seller
