How do I get the color touch screen. Mine looks like an old dos computer monitor?

Just push the knob for 3 seconds and it will let you switch between the modes.

Can this setup be used in other printers besides the Ender 3?

Yup. I'm restoring an old Printrbot Simple Pro to run this board and a TFT35 v2.0. I downloaded Fusion360, taught myself some basics (lessons at the university of YouTube) then designed and printed up an extension housing at the front of the Simple Pro frame to mount the touchscreen. Right now I'm designing a mount for the board and internal cooling. Then you have to configure the firmware for the board in Marlin. I don't know Marlin...wait...binges YT videos for a week.... I now know Marlin well enough to configure multiple setups. The screen is up and running, The stepper motors were all screaming...hmmm... ahhh...scans BTT Github pages for board pinouts...moved some wires around on the steppers and now ...they are now whisper quiet, like friggin ghost ninjas. Real quiet. Still some wiring and tidying up to do, then calibrating. It is a lot like building a 3D printer from a kit with some of the parts missing and no instructions. Great fun though. So to answer your question, Yes, yes you can get this board to work with lots of printers, but it may require some wiring and it will definitely need you to configure firmware to suit it in Marlin (unless someone already built exactly what you need already, then you just upload the pre-built firmware.bin file to your board - but where's the fun in that?)

How would I be able to tell if this is compatible with my printer?

Technically it’s design for the ender 3 as the name has E3 but if you know what your doing you could Configure Marlon to get it to work with any friends that is FdM.

Works perfectly on my Ender3v2

This cable worked perfectly on my Ender3v2 with BTT SKR Mini V3 mainboard. The original v4.3.1 mainboard by Creality was the one they created during the pandemic. Due to the chip shortages, they used low quality stepper drivers and it was incredibly loud. Now with the new BTT SKR Mini V3 mainboard it's silent.

Worked as described!

Seeing reviews of it not working- if you orient it correctly it works! If it’s backwards it won’t power on, if it’s upside down (white mark on bottom of pins) it won’t work. Just connect it correctly and it will work! This was just what i needed! Worked with 0 issues

Interface Cable Too Short

This review is for the BIGTREETECH Interface Cable (SKR Mini E3 V3 to Ender-3 v2 LCD) I purchased the SKR Mini E3 V3 when it first came out and love it. However, the LCD that comes with the Ender-3 v2 does not work with this board using the standard video cable. Fortunately I had a generic 12864 LCD which worked well. I recently found the BIGTREETECH Interface Cable on Amazon and ordered it so that I could return to using the E3 v2 LCD. Unfortunately, the cable is just too short. The original cable is about 50 cm and the cable that was shipped is around 30 cm. Additionally, the plugs on each end are not the same as the original in that they don't use a notch, which means you can inadvertently insert the cable backward. This fact is discussed in the product description on Amazon, but there are no instructions included with the product. I was able to confirm that the cable works by squishing it between the controller box and the controller box cover, and by removing the tool drawer that comes with the E3 v2. I upgraded my Ender-3 v2 by using several BIGTREETECH products and have been happy up to now, but this is disappointing.
