Phaidon does excellent work with their books, this one is no exception. They archive alot of amazing pieces to make for a great holiday reference book for your shelf or coffee table

I really enjoyed this book. It was more than I wanted to spend but it was worth it to me. It would make a good gift too for any Christmas lover or coffee table book collector. Each page is a different form of Christmas art or media from the past with a description. I would buy again.

Quite a wonderful book! The cover is one of my favorites! Each page of this book is a separate photo of something with a history or story beneath it. One of those "you can pick it up anytime" for a bit of a read and, in this case, feel just as if you've opened a Christmas present! Highly recommend!

Good book.

I would rank this as one of the most beautiful books in my possession. I reserve moments each day to spend time with this hefty book, and each turn of the page is like opening a present. The art, the color, the tradition...it's all here along with a nice little essay offering essential background info on the featured art, artist, artifact, ad, album cover. I purchased several Christmas themed books to stack on my sideboard for the holiday season but this one is getting all my attention. I'm smitten with everything about it.

This book is gorgeous and filled with both beautiful art and nostalgic imagery. The only downside is it is very tightly bound and does warp a little.

Lovely to have on a coffee table during the Christmas season
