3rd and last update
This bike is fabulous.! Of course, I have only ridden it one day, the second day after receiving it. Shipping was super fast and assembly was not too difficult with the videos, etc. The price was great, but I was not sure how good a bike it would be at that price. Well, I found out. Rode it yesterday 30-40 miles and it worked great. I have ridden a bike lots over the last 30 years, a nice Trek road bike, but I am much older now. I ride long distances each trip. I road RAIN, ride across Indiana, a one day, 162 mile trip from border to border so I have done some riding. Now that I am much older, I thought it was time to have some assistance riding, like battery power assistance. And I found out after one trip. I really enjoyed the ride. What i found out was that when I ride up steeper hills and use just battery power, it really takes lots of battery power. So I believe the way to ride is in the assist mode, level 3 and 4. You can make the ride easier by shifting to easier gears. And I thought that riding an ebike would be less excercise, but not true. Actually I can now ride more in one trip because with the assistance of the battery power, I can ride longer in time and distance. Only one complaint I have which is that the seat is not comfortable, but that will be an easy fix with a more confortable seat. I am sure glad I purchased this economical bike and I sure hope it holds up a long time. Also love the quick battery charger. Thanks for the bike.2nd update: Rode the bike 24 miles today again. It now has 64 miles still on one charge of the battery and it has still one bar of battery left. 64 plus miles on the battery with the same charge is super. I ride the bike at the 3 assist level. I still have battery left. Riding in assist is the way to go.3rd update: Rode the bike today and rode 80 miles on one charge of battery. Yes, that is one charge. I rode most of the time in assist 3 mode and there were some steeper hills that I moved to assist 4 and 5, but this bike is unbelieveable. Not ever using the throttle I wonder how many miles I could actually get.Now I will have to ride with just the throttle and see what Mileage I can get. Still love this bike. Thanks.

Great Product, Fast Shipping
So, I needed some kind of transportation back and forth to work. My truck's engine blew up about 6 months ago, and I couldn't afford to get it replaced, so instead, I was using Uber, and bumming rides from any friends who could/would help. I ended up coming into a little money, and thought about buying a new vehicle, but with gas prices (not to mention the insane mark up on vehicles in the current market), I felt it wasn't prudent to buy a new gas-powered vehicle, so I started looking for alternatives.I ended up finding Hit Road bikes on Amazon and was skeptical at first. It looked too good to be true, great prices, seemed to be a good bike, and it said it could be delivered in about a week from the order. I figured why not try it out (I had looked up other e-bikes and was impressed that this one had most the features of others, and at a fraction of the cost.) so I ordered it. The order took less than 5 days to get to me, in perfect condition, and had easy to understand instructions. I am not mechanically inclined, at all, so getting instructions that were legible and easy to understand really helped me out. It took me about 60 to 90 minutes to put the bike together from scratch. While putting the bike together, I put the battery on the charger, so I wouldn't have to wait as long to try it out. The battery charged for about 2 hours before becoming full.I just got back from my first ride when I am writing this, and I can confirm that this bike is legit. I am a huge fan, and will definitely be ordering more products from them in the very near future. I can now save the money that I was giving to Uber and to friends for rides, thus making it easier on my bank account. In all, I love this product, and will recommend Hit Road to anyone I know looking for a good e-bike.

First time buying an ebike and I'm pretty impressed
Was hesitant on buying an ebike because it's a large investment for me (broke, working college kid lol), but I decided on this one after months of research. It's surprisingly a very nice and smooth ride with a cushy seat, and using the twist throttle is a blast. I'm used to having cheap secondhand road bikes and dealing with wobbliness when you let go of one hand but with this bike, it's completely stable, most likely due to the 60lb weight. Assembly took me maybe 2 hours but it was my first time building a bike. Did a few minor adjustments to make it more comfortable while riding, but otherwise it's been awesome. Battery is a little chunky, but I only take it off when I have to leave my bike locked outside for more than 15 minutes. I installed a rear rack as well, and it seems well secured and sturdy. For people used to feeling some road friction/resistance when pedaling, you might have to start on 3rd/4th gear and tweak the front gears to the middle bar (not sure what the left meter mechanism is called); I had to do this otherwise it just felt like I was pedaling a ton but not moving at all. Speaking of which, pedal assist level 1 is plenty for short commutes, and going past level 3 is basically the same speed as full throttle. My biggest gripe is I had to buy a bigger ulock (and a chain lock for the front wheel just in case) because the distance from the seat pole and the back wheel is further compared to my current road bike. If you're unsure about spending 1500-2000$+ on a big brand name ebike, I'd say this is a pretty good starter and won't put a super huge dent in your savings if someone does steal it.
