This works fairly well depending on what you want to use it for. Some pros and cons:Pros:(1) Easy to change lock combination (comes preset to "000")(2) Fits many unopened wine bottles and most open wine type bottles(3) Durable for non true security purposesCons:(1) If you want to use this to stop real "wine theft" by minors, it could be easily broken (but tampering would be evident)(2) This is one size fits all. On some it was a bit loose (but still worked), on a few it was too small and would not close. For just about every bottle once opened though it worked.(3) If you turn an open bottle with wine in it upside down, it will leak. This is "airtight" only in an upright bottle position. Would be fine in the fridge if kept upright.This makes for a fun little conversation piece, or if you want to be able to stop/detect "sipping" from bottles you opened that you plan on consuming soon. It is not for long term storage of opened bottles of wine.

I bought this for my husband to use with an escape room he was writing but he only just now got it out of its package to check out. He said it neither locks nor unlocks--it is in a perpetual state of unlocked. He followed the instructions included and he is not a novice to locks. This is quite frustrating.

Cheap and too big. Doesn’t fit all bottles. Normal wine bottles you can just slip it right off.

Changing the combo doesn't work. So, it's stuck at 000, so if the person doesn't try that, you're good. :-(

Only for wine bottles. Has no bottom and cant be used in any other way than on bottle heads.
