Perfect solution to not having a headphone port.
The trend of removing the headphone port has been a pain in the you_know_where for the last ~5 years. They force us to buy bluetooth earphones which are good in certain ways, but are inconvenient in many ways.1. Everlasting need for the battery and charging.2. Always worried for loosing a piece.3. Connection is not instant, further changing the device wastes time.4. And there are connection and pairing issues.5. More expensive and inferior quality of sound compared to similarly priced wired earphones.6. Call quality is pathetic unless one buys a flagship one.7. Active noise cancellation with transparency mode is again flagship feature (ie comes with a high price).8. After the use is over, there is an added task to put the earphone back to the case (to ensure that they are not lost, and charge them for the next use). This type c earphone solved all those issues, like good old days, when listening to music or attending a call was as simple as just a plug and play.Currently I use two mobile phones, a Samsung Galaxy A52s (I purchased it only for it had a headphone jack), a Google Pixel 6a, and an iPad Air 4. The later two lack a headphone jack and I always have to pair to a bluetooth earphone to watch videos, listening to music or attending calls. Changing connection between an Android and iOS is always a pain with poor compatibility. For this earphone specifically;a. Sound quality: Descent for the price. I am a musician, and always look for the perfect blend (I use Sennheiser and AudioTechnica for that purpose). Having said that, I can safely comment that you'll not regret the quality.b. Ergonomics: Earpieces are little bulky than I prefer. But I go to sleep with these earphones and it didn't give me a pain.c. Component quality: The earpieces are sturdy. The stock earplug fits perfectly to my ear (there are other sizes provided in the box). The cord is matt soft touch rubber which I am not very confident about how long they are going to last. Similar material was also on the more expensive Sennheiser ones that I used earlier and those broke exposing the metal wire inside after 1.5-2 years.d. Functions: I was blown that apart from the call receive/decline button, there are also volume up-down buttons (unusual for the price).e. Compatibility: Surprising further, all those buttons work perfectly in all those devices (A52s, Pixel 6a and iPad). Tell you what, although there is no sound, the buttons work as intended for the Mac also.Problems are minor;1. With Pixel, sometimes it will get disconnected within minutes, and reattaching resolves the problem. It may occur repeatedly 2-3 times in a row, or it may not occur at all. I don't get the reason, but the way it gets disconnected, it appears that might the some kind of software restriction from the Pixel. It happened with no other device.Verdict: Over last few years, it is one of the best electronic device I have purchased. It genuinely has a potential to ruin the malpractice of removing the headphone port. This is I firmly believe the reason for not having too many options for a USB type C earphone, as they force us to buy more expensive but poor value bluetooth earphones. I got it for roughly Rs 600/- in the Great Indian Festival. Even if it was 800-1k (which is the usual price), it will be value for money.

Stopped working in 20 days. Very poor customer service
The media could not be loaded. I bought this earphone and stopped working in 20 days and as per Amazon policy we need to connect directly to brand/seller so I write an email to the team and they are asking the same proof again and again - "Could you kindly share an authentic video clearly demonstrating the issue with the product? Please ensure that the Amazon Basics logo is visible on the product during the video. This is mandatory for our assessment."I have shared this video and asked them how can I create a video if one side of earphone is not working and they assist me over an call but the team is really bad and provide poor services. They are only copy and pasting the same mail without providing the solution.DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM AMAZON THEM BECAUSE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS PATHETIC 😡 THEY WILL NOT PROVIDE ANY SOLUTION IN CASE OF ANY ISSUE

Not a good earphones
Though this is the cheapest earphones it does not have a good mic. It is best used only for listening music or movies. Doesn't have a great bass, or mids. It is not worth the ₹549. It is also fragile. Not recommended to buy.

Very pleased
I bought these for about $4.00, and these are some of the best sounding headphones I've ever owned. They have an inline mic, so I can use it on my PS4 for online gaming, or on my phone for calls. They're very comfortable and fit nicely in my ears. They come with extra ear buds (I don't know what those rubber ear cups are called), in case you have small or large ear holes. The construction feels sturdy, and some of it is made with metal. Most headphones I buy feel like they're made from cheap plastic. There's a clip so you can anchor it to your collar/lapel/jacket and not worry about yanking the cord every time you turn your head. I like it. The audio is quite good. I listened to music on my smartphone and plugged them into my PS4 controller for gaming, and they sounded rich and full on everything. Compared to every pair of ear buds I've owned, these are easily in the top three for sound. Most headphones I've bought for under $20 sound like you're wearing soup cans over your ears. Even more expensive headphones felt cheap with all plastic parts. At $4, these are literally the cheapest headphones I've ever bought, and they're top notch in every respect. The only thing I'm waiting to see is how long they last. I'll update this review if I have anything to report, but for now I'm giving these 5 stars and I'm highly recommending them.

Sad. Just sad.
I rarely write reviews, and only when something blows me away or is just utterly disappointing. These headphones are painfully useless. I bought two pairs as add-ons because they were only 4 bucks!! But since they were AmazonBasics I was expecting them to be wonderful. Sound is great and full, but my first pair broke within a few weeks of usage. The earbuds actually separated, so that you could see the inside of the wire of the part that goes into the ear. My second pair, which I literally opened and used for the first time 15 minutes before writing this post, already broke. The right earbud totally just died out while I was at the gym. And since it's been over four months since my purchase I doubt Amazon would compensate. In conclusion, there are so many better brands and quality earbuds that you could purchase for the same amount of money. Don't buy this.

Shocked
Shocked. I plugged these into my phone and the sound quality was equal if not better to the $20-$30 buds ice bought on Amazon. I only needed a couple seconds to cone to this conclusion. But only for stars because when I pulled the Jack from the port on my phone, the metal sleeve slipped of the Jack and slid down the wire. So I had to grab the wire right behind the Jack stem to remove the Jack from the phone. I imagine the connection would suffer quickly after a short time removing the Jack this way. I think a touch of super glue will keep that metal sleeve in place and for the quality to price ratio of these buds, that would be worth it. I'm hard on earbuds so I go through them quickly. $5 a pop? I think I'll order5 more. That's if the super glue solves the issue. Hers an update to my review. Rather than using super glue, I just used a wire cutter and made a small crimp on the sleeve.it worked.
