Corin's Chance (Avanti Chronicles Book 1)

l have just finished Corin's Chance and l have to say l feel like l've just watched a whole new Star Trek move in 4Dl am not a reader of Sci-Fi books and usually don't feel compelled to start any . However this series being M/M had me intrigued , and boy am l happy l took a chance !!!!!The sheer attention to detail is just amazing , all throughout the book l felt like l was actually there, living on that planet. The descriptions of the different named Planets,the Starships , the various Clans,and the in depth battle scenes are so good . l especially loved the Space travel, interesting medical supplies , new diseases ,and different foods ....In essence this is a story about true love , sacrifice, friendship, and loyalty with a good measure of murder , deceit and kidnapping thrown in .The emotions just jump off the pages, and the sex scenes leave you hot. The relationships between all the characters are very intense and genuine.l am truly amazed at the strength and level of writing in this book , it does not feel like a debut book at all. l am really looking forward to reading the rest of the series and finding out how the other Avanti's will find love .As for Corin's Chance , just beautiful !!!!Thank you for the recommendation .

The moment you start corin's chance you are teansported to this gorgeous planet called landran you are right there with them its such a great feelingThis book made me cry at times but also there are alot and i mean alot of laughing.Corin and kel there are cute together you can feel all the intense love and connection with themBut with a dad and a power hungry enemy will corin and kel make or breakThis is a amazing start to a intense series with alot of laughs you are intrduced to a fantasic cast of charactersThank you hannah walker for introducing us to the avanti chronicles love it

I love the detail. Great well developed storyline, incredibly imaginative. I especially loved how the writing was so good that you could easily picture the scenes in your head. Fantastic start to a new series with a great range of well thought out characters. Loved it.

There's a lot of great world building in this book which is why it perhaps felt a bit messy at times.Corin was just a bit too perfect and it felt on occasion that the whole world was just falling at his feet wanting to be his friend.Kel felt a bit more rounded as a character and the secondary characters and setting was very well done. The Avanti squad are all interesting characters I'm going to be interested in reading about.I believe this was the author's first published book and, having read some of her other works, i think that goes some way to explaining the rougher edges.The dialogue gets a bit overblown in some of the speeches and I have to admit that 'cute child speak' just grated on my nerves each time she opened her mouth.But, overall, I enjoyed this first foray into a new series.

For me, this was quite a different type of read to my usual reads. I'm a huge M/M fan and have previously read an mpreg story before, what was different for me was this is a futuristic scifi adventure.This book really was action packed from the start and the storyline never faltered. Each character was complex enough in their own way that makes you want to read more about them all. Even though the story was action packed and full of drama this was broken up perfectly by the camaraderie between the characters. I especially enjoyed the way the author described the surroundings, whether it be where the pod that Corin and Tate were travelling in landed, or when they were taking Eliya home and Eliya had to tell them where she lived. The way the author manages to capture the essence of an innocent child is brilliant. I thought Corin and Kel were a perfect match for each other as they both stood up against each other not taking any crap.Something else i really found interesting with this book was that the author introduced different ways for them to swear, yes they still used our profanities but also some of their own too. Without giving too much away, i was surprised at who, out of Corin and Kel, go pregnant.At times whilst reading this i laughed, hard, other times i'd get choked up, and the other times....i was searching for a fan too cool myself down from the steamy sexy scenes !! And i think what made them steamier was the fact that the differences between Kel and Corin were described flawlessly.Over all i really did enjoy this magnificent story of a love that is out of this world........

first for me from this author good book to start this series off the world building and characters were interesting enough to keep me reading just wish i it was easier to understand whos POV some times was changes so quick on the page i am going get the next book what i would say though if your a tender hearted soul and love lots of sap then grab tissues and i your like me you may get eye ache from all the eye rolling your gonna do lol ;-)

Oh wow! This author blew me away! It was the first time i have read her work after another author and a book club recommended her and these books and they were not wrong!Holy heck this book was amazing, the story written so well. The characters fully formed, emotions believable and everything about this world pulled me in. Since reading this i have read the next two in the series and they only get better!Thankyou Hannah for an amazing couple of days i look forward to future releases :D

What a truly lovely book, I can't wait to get onto the next in the series. I enjoyed all the characters from the joking, the love, the evil, and everything in-between. This is a great story with romance, sexy scenes and suspense in which true love conquers all.

Same old cliches of man meets man ,man loses man becomes tortured soul, gets man back againAs a gay man I do find female authors layering female emotions onto male...

Awesome start to a new series. Loved all the character's of the Avanti, and can't wait to read their individual storiedy

I recommend this book wholeheartedly. It was lovely to read and had everything in it that l love. Gorgeous men. Adventure and a great storyline.
